[Akonadi] [Bug 350215] New: Akonadi IMAP Resource: Updating renamed folder fails: Invalid identifier

2015-07-14 Thread Till Schäfer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350215

Bug ID: 350215
Summary: Akonadi IMAP Resource: Updating renamed folder fails:
Invalid identifier
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 1.13.0
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: IMAP resource
  Assignee: chrig...@fastmail.fm
  Reporter: till2.schae...@uni-dortmund.de
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org, vkra...@kde.org

I have renamed an IMAP folder in KMail. The folder was named svn and the new
name is code. The folder is renamed correctly on the server side, and also the
client shows the new name. However, new mails are not received for this folder.
Updating the folder gives the following error message in akonadi console:

AgentBase(akonadi_imap_resource_2): Auswählen fehlgeschlagen, die Serverantwort
lautet: A058401 NO Invalid identifier

In English it is something like: […]: Selection failed, the server response is:
[…]

it seems like akonadi still uses svn as remoteid:

[kmail2] [Bug 319204] Mailbodies are deleted by Kmails spam-bogofilter on the remote IMAP Server!

2015-07-14 Thread piedro
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=319204

--- Comment #13 from piedro piedro.kul...@googlemail.com ---
Sorry for the long wait. First I missed your comment and than I took a month
too really check for any more losses... just to make sure...

So: Yes I use spambayes within kmail and this is the client side as it is
filtered by spambayes on my computer... I have been using it for quite some
time now and have not experienced any data loss anymore.

I'd wish I could be more helpful here regarding bogofilter but I dare not to
touch it on my production system again.

BTW: I do not think there has been a bad bogofilter setup on my part as I
sticked to clean defaults as created by the Arch packages. Years ago I used
bogofilter with Kubuntu in the old kmail for KDE3 and this has always been
working fine.

Thank you very much to take this seriously,
I know am really no big help here but I reported everything I could from my
level of understanding...

cheers, piedro

[kmail2] [Bug 346695] KMail2 generates duplicates of e-mails

2015-07-14 Thread Peter Humphrey
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346695

--- Comment #4 from Peter Humphrey pe...@prh.myzen.co.uk ---
I've belatedly discovered akonadiconsole. I used it to clear the akonadi caches
of the troublesome folders, then resynchronise them. Pro tem, it seems this has
done the trick: whatever rubbish has been lurking in those folders appears to
have been cleared out.

Now when I get a duplicate, which I still do most days, when I view one of the
pair the other one disappears. It's a phantom and doesn't appear in the trash
or anywhere else.
