[Akonadi] [Bug 351824] New: Wrong urls for calendars with german umlauts

2015-08-26 Thread jefaridas
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=351824

Bug ID: 351824
Summary: Wrong urls for calendars with german umlauts
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: DAV Resource
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: jefari...@nurfuerspam.de

Since the latest update of akonadi (15.08.0) calendars with german umlauts
don't sync from my owncloud 8.1 server anymore (might also affect carddav).
Since I don't have any idea how to debug akonadi, it simply doesn't work, no
error messages visible, I looked at the server logs. It looks like the url
encoding doesn't work anymore: ('ö' should encode as %C3%B6, but now its
%25c3%25b6. Note that %25 is '%' encoded, it might get encoded twice)

Old server-log:
w.x.y.z - - [08/Aug/2015:11:25:22 +0200] REPORT

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a CalDAV resource containing calendars with umlauts

Actual Results:
calendars with umlauts don't sync, but no error message

Expected Results:
calendars with umlauts sync

[kmail2] [Bug 351814] New: Kmail 15.08 will not sync Outlook365 IMAP Folders

2015-08-26 Thread Daniel Shafer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=351814

Bug ID: 351814
Summary: Kmail 15.08 will not sync Outlook365 IMAP Folders
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: commands and actions
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: onecoldwo...@gmail.com

I added my work's Outlook365 details (which is the standard Outlook365 IMAP
settings) into Kmail, it logs in fine as its able to grab the folder structure.
It starts to download email but just sticks at 0%.

I added my own person IMAP server and it works fine, it seems to be isolated to
Office 365.

Let me know if you need further info.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Kmail
2. Add Outlook365 credentials
3. Try to sync email

Actual Results:
Folder sync hangs at 0% no folders are downloaded, but folder structure gets
downloaded

Expected Results:
Synced all my folders properly.

I did IMAP debug and the best info I got was:

S: A000443 OK SEARCH completed.
C: A000444 UID SEARCH UID 872001:874000
S: * SEARCH
S: A000444 OK SEARCH completed.

C: A000449 UID SEARCH UID 882001:884000

This goes on for an extremely long time, no messages are being downloaded, it
literally just scrolls that message over a few million times.

2015-08-26 Thread Daniel Shafer

Bug ID: 351816
Summary: Kmail 15.08 Message Body does not follow the Font DPI
settings.
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
   URL: http://i.imgur.com/Ljuksmd.png
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major

  Reporter: onecoldwo...@gmail.com

When viewing messages, the font in the message body does not conform to the
Font DPI settings in KDE.

Everything else does, except that one part. The image doesn't quiet justify it
as I am on a 4K screen, but you should be able to notice the differences in
font size. On my screen it is impossible to read.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set Font DPI settings to a higher value.
2. Open Kmail on High DPI screen
3. Select message or open it in window
4. Obverse that message body does not conform to the Font DPI settngs

Actual Results:
Message is imposible to read due to extremely low fonts

Expected Results:
Message body should conform to Font DPI settings in System Settings

[kmail2] [Bug 347236] kmail crashes while trying to open kontact

2015-08-26 Thread stakanov
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347236

well, in the meanwhile I think it is related to the following. Whenever you
create a task inside the plug'in for cose da fare which should be tasklist I
think, and you save! it, subsequently it frequently happens that you cannot use
kontact at all any more because of this crash. This happens at system startup.
The problem never happens spontaneously during use. But once this bug is
triggered, Kontact is unusable and remains such.
Since I discontinued the use of this plugin, kontakt seems to work reliably
again (but only after migrating the emails to a new user in a fresh Kontact
setting.

I don't have aspell-en installed. Can*t remove aspell without removing most of
KDE as dependencies. Now I installed aspell-de for german dictonaries and now
there seems to be no more crash.

I will watch whether this solves the problem and report back.

thx a lot, piedro

For the record, I'm using archlinux, akonadi version is 15.08.0-2.

A previous (before last update, can't remember exact number) version worked
without this issue.

[Akonadi] [Bug 351803] New: IMAP stopped working

OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: grave

 Component: IMAP resource
  Assignee: chrig...@fastmail.fm
  Reporter: and...@alweb.dk

Kmail is no longer usable as a mail client, since it does not fetch mail. When
starting the PC, it fetches mail once, after that I am not able to get it to
fetch new mail. I can view one message per restart of akonadi.
Updating folders does not cause new mail to become available.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. wait some time
2.
3.

Actual Results:
New mail is not becoming available.

Expected Results:
New mail becomes available regularly.

I use Plasma 5 desktop, updated arch packages for everything.

I'm seeing the same behaviour here: we use owncloud to share calendars and it
seems that ALL requests are made without username/password.
Since the connection is encrypted (https) it is a bit difficult to send a
wireshark dump, but I clearly see on the apache side that all PROPFIND requests
are made without credentials: I only see 401 requests.

Simulating the same request via curl, but providing the credential, it works.
