[kaddressbook] [Bug 332358] Regression: Baloo for tags messes up categories/groups when syncing with external collections (e.g. owncloud)

2015-10-07 Thread Fuchs
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=332358

The new KF5 based contact seems to have gotten an overhaul with regards to
categories of contacts and calendars.

However, syncing them still doesn't work.

It would be great if whatever new system that is would respect groups that you
have defined in e.g. owncloud and correctly sync them, it has not been possible
to correctly use groups in KDE for 1.5 years by now ...

I think you can (re)start indexing by deleting ./config/baloorc (or perhaps
setting "initialIndexingDone=false" there) followed by "akonadictl restart".
However, search still doesn't work for me.

[kaddressbook] [Bug 353664] New: KF5 based kaddressbook / kleopatra regrssion: gpg keys are no longer stored

2015-10-07 Thread Fuchs
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353664

Bug ID: 353664
Summary: KF5 based kaddressbook / kleopatra regrssion: gpg keys
are no longer stored
   Product: kaddressbook
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: deve...@fuchsnet.ch
CC: to...@kde.org

In KDE 4 based versions of kmail/kaddressbook it was possible to save which gpg
key(s) to use when writing E-Mails to a person. The dialogue still pops up and
offers doing so, but as apparently the new kaddressbook no longer offers a
field for that, the keys are not stored.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have a person (E-Mail address, actually) with multiple GPG keys in
kleopatra
2. Try sending this person an e-mail
3. Tell kmail to save the setting (in kaddressbook)

Actual Results:
The key(s) / settings are not saved

Expected Results:
They are saved

Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: search
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: kram...@web.de
CC: m...@vhanda.in

Search (shortcut "s") does not find any results at all, regardless of search
criteria.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open "Find message windows" on a folder (IMAP inbox in my case)
2. Search for something you know there should be matches, e.g. a known subject
or sender

Actual Results:
Empty result list, empty search folder

Expected Results:
Result list containing matching mails.

Kmail Version 5.0.1 KDE Frameworks 5.14.0 Qt 5.5.0 (built against 5.5.0)

After initial setup of Kmail and accounts, "Folder Properties / Maintenance /
Indexing" of the folder in question was showing
   [x] Enable Full Text Indexing
   Still not indexed

I was able to change this to
Indexed 30 items of this collection
by deleting ./config/baloorc and "akonadictl restart", however, search result
still is empty regardless of what I search for.

[kmail2] [Bug 351395] kmail 15.08.1 crashes when opening the composer window

I'm on openSuse Tumbleweed, Qt 5.5 and Plasma 5.4.1
I'm coming from a duplicated bug so I will do a brief summary.
Kmail 5.0.1 crashes when trying to open the mail composer with a new mail or a
forwarded one. It will not crash on a reply. If you open the composer with a
reply, then all the new mail will not crash the software, so as a workaround
first try to reply a random mail and after cilck on the New button or CTRL+N
ecc.
The crash not appears, almost on my system, with the Local Folder.
The crash, and this is a novelty, does not occours with a second IMAP account
that I rarely use to send mail. This second account is almost identical at the
one that crashes, same server, same domain etc.
This is my backtrace saved using gdb as drkonqi does not appear.

After digging inside the difference between the two accounts I've changed the

the Dictionary from "Italian" to "American English" like the other identity
that does not crash. Now kmail does not crash anymore.

Suddenly entries from Bruce Schneier's blog appeared in Fefe's blog. Also
surprising is, that it showed entries as new that I already marked as "read" in
