https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=325224 Chris changed: What|Removed |Added CC||ichri...@core-vector.net --- Comment #32 from Chris --- Greetings, the pull request submitted by Martin Droessler was merged into libical2. However akonadi and kontact both use libical1.0... backporting the single pull request back to the libical 1.0 branch did not yield any results for me. So I can confirm that this issue is still present in kontact 4.14.9; I can create caldav and groupdav events on a remote server, but I can then only see them in the kontact instance that created the event. [kmail2] [Bug 344296] The "remove duplicates" should have some options to define duplicates
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344296 piedro changed: What|Removed |Added CC||piedro.kul...@googlemail.co ||m Version|4.14.4 |unspecified --- Comment #1 from piedro --- This is still valid, the "remove duplicate" is not very useful atm (which is a very long moment - about 5 years long up till now) but I am glad of the attention to detail kmail is getting... I am sure it will be fixed soon, right? Thunerbird has a plugin system for stuff like this there are many different plugins for a simple tool like this, you can fine tune every aspect of auto removal In kmail there is no working way of mass removing mail (search doesn't work well atm, virtual folders do not really work and you cannot remove stuff within them, right...) A modern Email-Client should offer a way of auto removing duplicates.
