[kontact] [Bug 355477] Kontact crashes on startup

2015-11-17 Thread via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355477

Thank you for your quick answer.
Acutally 4.13.3 is the version shipped with the current kubuntu LTS.
I guess I'll have to check with them then.

Regards

This is defenitly not Fixed!
Kmail 5.03 still has this problem and even more, it doesnt work with dimap.

I don't understand the difficulties. Thunderbird, Outlook and Trojita have no
Problem with Courier-IMAP. They are even much faster.

Please also note, that this problem will *not* be solved at the server-side:

I solved the problem at the server-side by replacing courier with dovecot. It
turned out that this was quite easy. I looked at this change as a mountain,
but it appeared to be a hill.

[kmail2] [Bug 355497] New: Kmail 5.0.2: Message Import only imports empty folders

2015-11-17 Thread via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355497

Bug ID: 355497
Summary: Kmail 5.0.2: Message Import only imports empty folders
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: joachim@hoss.koeln

Both Import wizards in KMail 5.0.2 (Kubuntu 15.10) import only empty folders
when I try to import Messages from Thunderbird or from mbox-FIles. The wizard
completes and creates all the neccessary folders but the folders are empty.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. (Optional) export Mails from Thunderbird in to mbox-files.
2. Try one of the import wizards in KMail.

Actual Results:
A list of emtpy Mail-Folders

Expected Results:
All mails imported

This is my first bug report for KDE, if additional information or logs are
needed, please comment.
