[kmail2] [Bug 357313] New: Column-width in the main window, i.e. "subject", "from", "date" not kept, crowded to left

2015-12-29 Thread wodenhof via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357313

Bug ID: 357313
Summary: Column-width in the main window, i.e. "subject",
"from", "date" not kept, crowded to left
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.1
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: woden...@web.de

After start of Kmail5 the headers over the main window like "subject", "from",
"date" etc. are compressed to a few millimeters width at the left side. To make
entries below readable, every column has to be re-sized with the mouse.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Kmail
2.
3.

Expected Results:
Columns should keep the size assigned in the previous session.

[kmail2] [Bug 357310] New: Local folder and sub-folders are doubly shown (i.e. English and German)

2015-12-29 Thread wodenhof via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357310

Bug ID: 357310
Summary: Local folder and sub-folders are doubly shown (i.e.
English and German)
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.1
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: folders
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: woden...@web.de

I'll append a screenshot (that is I would, but somehow one can't?!?), but
summary says it all already...

On the leftmost side, where the directory-tree shows external mail folder and a
local folder there exists a "Local folders" with its sub-folders and below that
a "Lokaler Ordner" again with the same sub-folders (in German).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just start Kmail5
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Folders show double

Expected Results:
Only one folder-(structure), preferably the localized (in my case German).

How can I add an attachment (.png file)?

[kontact] [Bug 357299] New: kmail crashes during some curious activity done simultaneously in all folders above the one I moved a message into

2015-12-29 Thread Michael Brach via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357299

Bug ID: 357299
Summary: kmail crashes during some curious activity done
simultaneously in all folders above the one I moved a
message into
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: michael.br...@uni-muenster.de

Application: kontact (4.14.3)
KDE Platform Version: 4.14.13
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Operating System: Linux 3.13.0-74-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

1. On the left I have my folders view, say there are 20 folders. In the middle
I have my message list, on the right a certain message text is shown.
2. Using the mouse, I grab this message from the list and move it into the one
folder, say it is the 9th counted from the top.
3. When I would release the mouse button above the 9th folder, something would
happen in all folders from the 1st to the 9th, indicated by an icon with a a
rotating arrow, which is shown instead of the normal folder icon.

After 5-15 seconds,
a) the activity is over, I can work normally
b) kmail would crash

I cannot say when point 3 will happen, It seems to be in the beginning of daily
work. However, it is not each time (each day and it may happen more than one
time per day. For instance, if (3) happens, and case (a) happens, I would move
another message into folder 12, then the same (3) would happen again. I think
that it would not, when I move a message to say folder 4 (a folder above
folder 9). But I'm not sure at the moment.

I tried to differentiate the issue and move messages by using the context menu.
I never experienced the problem this way. Maybe it is a problem with the mouse?
HOwever, only in kmail I have unexpected behaviour.

MAybe s.o. can give me a int where to watch, or what to triy out.

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.
