[Akonadi] [Bug 329779] crash without kontakt open (while background email check on POP3 runs on the default account and a mailinglist filter is used)

2016-03-29 Thread via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=329779

Feel free to close this bug as this is a bug report from two years ago. This
specific problem seems to have been fixed by patching a conflict with wallet
about a month ago.
At the time, there were all debugging symbols installed. If you want to do
something good to yourself, you can tell me what could I do to give you better
bug reports when kmail crashes (and belief me, it crashes still).

Wrong KF5CalendarCoreConfig.cmake is provided by kcalcore. which doesn't ask
kdepimlibs or kmailtransport
it asks just
find_dependency(KF5KDELibs4Support "5.19.0")
find_dependency(LibIcal "0.42")

The "Until I permanently delete them" functionality is simply not available in
kmail.

Though it should not redownload them after you have deleted them locally
though.

So i think that you should spawn a new wish report about The "Until I
permanently delete them" functionality.

And also please update to the new kdepim based in KDE Frameworks 5 and check if
you still have this problem.

[kontact] [Bug 361157] New: Akonadi does not work properly after Update to KDE FW 5.20, Plasma 5.6 and Qt5.6 on Opensuse Leap 42.1

2016-03-29 Thread Jay Ambee via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361157

Bug ID: 361157
Summary: Akonadi does not work properly after Update to KDE FW
5.20, Plasma 5.6 and Qt5.6 on Opensuse Leap 42.1
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: jmbar...@googlemail.com

Application: kontact (5.1.3)

Qt Version: 5.6.0
Frameworks Version: 5.20.0
Operating System: Linux 4.1.15-8-default x86_64
Distribution: "openSUSE Leap 42.1 (x86_64)"

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Activating other Kontact-Application

- Unusual behavior I noticed:
Kontact reports that Akonadi is not working properly. No Access to Mail,
CalDAV, CardDAV Accounts, viewable only cached data.
This happened after I updated KDE Framework to 5.20, Plasma to 5.6 (from
5.5.95...) on Opensuse. I had to update Qt to 5.6 also because Opensuse
maintainers built FW, Plasma to 5.6. Before everything worked okay.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

[kdepimlibs] [Bug 341877] "circular dependency" between kdepimlibs and new split PIM kmailtransport

2016-03-29 Thread James Richard Tyrer via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=341877

--- Comment #6 from James Richard Tyrer ---
(In reply to Laurent Montel from comment #4)
> nope I build correctly for sure.
Do you understand that if you try building it on a system where it has been
previously installed that you can probably install it without any problem. To
test it, you need to move these three files:

KF5CalendarCoreConfig.cmake
KF5MailTransportConfig.cmake
KF5AkonadiMimeConfig.cmake

to a SCRATCH or $HOME area where they will not be found.

If you would please post your:

KF5CalendarCoreConfig.cmake

file, I will experiment with it and try to confirm that that is indeed the
case. It should only take one file to break the circle.

New crash information added by DrKonqi

kontact (4.14.10) on KDE Platform 4.14.14 using Qt 4.8.7

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I had changed trash for an Imap account from local back to imap-folder.
kontact crashed with error "resource id 4 not available" (from memory)
changing trash for that particular imap-acc. back to local via akonadiconsole
makes kontact start again.

This same problem, or a very similar one, appears to occur with
KDEPIMlibs-15.12.3

Therefore, this bug needs to be reopened and actually fixed.

I've just upgraded to the latest version available in
KDE:/Applications/openSUSE_Leap_42.1, which is kmail5 15.12.3-42.1, but this
didn't fix the issue. However I think the relevant fix for this issue went into
the 16.03.80 release (likely
https://github.com/KDE/kdepim/commit/51fa1752b5c271c504f775945e84d97c7df81b8b).

As I have a workaround, I'll wait for the next release to be available for
openSUSE Leap. Thanks for looking into this issue anyway!

There is always this call for participation, bug reporting and contributing to

I start think this is wishful thinking. Nobody seems to even acknowledge any

Yes, it's a local file, plain text, permissions 644. The strange thing is, I
can use the output of a command (e.g. "cat /path/to/signature") as workaround.

[kmail2] [Bug 361131] New: Mail signature is treated invalid when provided as file

2016-03-29 Thread via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361131

Bug ID: 361131
Summary: Mail signature is treated invalid when provided as
file
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.1
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: config dialog
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: aost...@suse.de

If one wants to use a mail signature (like the name, address, etc.) from a file
to be appended to new mails, kmail errors with the message "Invalid signature".

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open "Settings" --> "Configure KMail"
2. From "Identities", choose the identity where you want to add a signature and
click on "Change..."
3. Select the tab "Signature", check the checkbox "Attach signature" and select
to get the signature from a file.
4. Select the file containing your signature
5. After hitting "OK" an error message is shown saying "the signature is
invalid"

Actual Results:
Mail signatures cannot be used from files anymore.

Expected Results:
Read the signature from the given file.

Yes kleopatra is actively polling for smartcards. This is wrong it should use a

I look at the KMail and seems that we already can do this via Filters
functional!

In filters interface there are available Filter Actions "Pipe Throuth" and
"Execute command" options.

I place myscript.sh in "Execute command" - it gets all message source to stdin!

Problem is only with parsing message subject and text, because they are BASE64
encoded, because we have raw message source text, not parsed via kmail.

2016-03-29 Thread Murz via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361083

I plan to create custom cli script like crm_create_ticket.php with something:
http://mycrm.com/create_ticket.php');
curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_POST, true);
curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, http_build_query($post));
$out = curl_exec($curl);
echo $out;
curl_close($curl);
?>
Or maybe bash equivalent of this process.
So if KMail provide way to exec scripts and send message values to stdin of
script, there will be wide way for customisation and automation of mail
processing.
