[kmail2] [Bug 362220] New: kontact crash when kmail settings->appearance

2016-04-25 Thread Kees Bergwerf via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362220

Bug ID: 362220
Summary: kontact crash when kmail settings->appearance
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: config dialog
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: k...@bergwerf.com

kmail 5.2.0, kdepim 6.4.0
At first my email addresses in the headers and cc-listst are changed into "Ik",
that is Dutch for "I" and that is very annoying.
So I tried if I could change that and in the kmail settings, when clicking on
"appearence" kontact crashes.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.go to kmail settings
2.click on appearence
3.

Actual Results:
kontact crash

Expected Results:
the appearence dialog opens

kde-apps 16.04.0
kde-frameworks 5.21.0
kde-plasma 5.6.3
Qt 5.6.0

In the forum thread I mentioned above (see Comment 4) have today (25.042016)
been two posts by user opuetz (Nr. 36 & 37) who obviously has been testing
different combinations of FW/Plasma/Apps Versions which might be helpful.

[kmail2] [Bug 361630] kmail default identity change has no effect

2016-04-25 Thread Kees Bergwerf via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361630

In the settings: identities
There I have 5 identities and one of them is the default.

In all folders is a setting: use default identity
When marked, the identity below is greyed out. When this is not the default
identity, it is still used when I am in this folder and I start a new email
message and that is wrong because I marked [x]use default identity. That is: do
not use the identity below.

When I change my default identity in the settings, the default identity in the
folders is not changed. Okay I was wrong in calling this the default identity
because it is the identity used fot this folder and perhaps that should not be
changed, but then the default identity must be used and it is not.
When I create a new folder, in the settings of that folder my default identity
is NOT setup.

[akregator] [Bug 362246] New: Akregator crashes on clicking Planet KDE feed

2016-04-25 Thread Albert Yiamakis via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362246

Bug ID: 362246
Summary: Akregator crashes on clicking Planet KDE feed
   Product: akregator
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: kojir...@gmail.com

Application: akregator (5.1.3)

Qt Version: 5.5.1
Operating System: Linux 4.4.0-21-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

-- Information about the crash:
This is possibly due similar to other reports (unread/videos?) - presumably the
Planet KDE feed currently has some post causing the crash on preview.

After the crash, all feeds get reset. Clicking on the Planet KDE feed or either
parent folder (All feeds, KDE) crashes it again.

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

-- Backtrace:

[Akonadi] [Bug 358696] KF5's kaddressbook crashes when adding a contact that has a birthday

2016-04-25 Thread eric via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358696

The birthday resource is already added on a newly created homedir of a test
user. I always do a 'rm -rf /home/testuser /tmp/akonadi-testuser*' before login
as testuser and testing kaddressbook.

Adding a contact with a birthday crashes kaddressbook when there is a birthday
resource.
After this crash:
- kaddressbook will crash immediately after start;
- korganizer will crash when showing the to-do view or creating new event or
to-do;
- korganizer will not crash in the calendar view, the birthday of the new
contact is visible;
- akonadiconsole will crash when choosing the browser tab;
- configuring the birthday resource in akonadiconsole will crash the configure
dialog

But no crash will happen when I remove the birthday resource first before
adding a contact with a birthday... of course this way I will not be able to
see the birthday in korganizer's calendar view.

[kmail2] [Bug 362258] New: regression: drop file in composer no longer adds attachment or asks what to do

2016-04-25 Thread Martin Koller via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362258

Bug ID: 362258
Summary: regression: drop file in composer no longer adds
attachment or asks what to do
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: composer
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: kol...@aon.at

kmail 5.2.0
KDE Frameworks 5.21.0
Qt 5.6.0 (built against 5.6.0)
The xcb windowing system

When drag&drop a file from konqueror (from $HOME) into a plain text kmail
composer window,
kmail2 (Qt4 based) showed a popup menu asking if I want to insert the URL as
text or if I want
to attach the file to the mail.

This no longer works in kmail2 (Qt5 based) when I drag&drop from konqueror or
from my own Qt5 based application.
In these cases, kmail just inserts always the URL as text.
However it works differently when I drag a file from dolphin, where I still get
no popup but kmail just
attaches the file.

Reproducible: Always

Expected Results:
Show the popup as in Qt4-based kmail and ask me what to do

[kmail2] [Bug 362262] New: KMail doesn't apply a filter that contains an euro sign €

2016-04-25 Thread ka3ak via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362262

Bug ID: 362262
Summary: KMail doesn't apply a filter that contains an euro
sign €
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.13.3
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: message list
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: _...@bk.ru

A filter that filters out emails containing an euro sign in their subject
doesn't work.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a filter that filters on mail subject. [Subject] [contains] € (or
[matches regular expr.] .*€.* doesn't matter)
2. Receive a email whose subject contains an euro sign (send one to yourself if
needed)

Actual Results:
The email won't be filtered. Right clicking the email and selecting 'Apply all
filters' doesn't work either.

Expected Results:
The email is filtered automatically.

I've also asked a question about this:

If I click on a larger folder, the following is logged by Akonadi - each line
taking close to one second to appear (Remember: the Dovecot IMAP server runs on
localhost in my case and the system uses a Samsung 840 EVO SSD), and
"Receiving" is done twice, as you can see above, before kMail actually
finishes:

Where is the duplicate? I can't see any in the example you pasted

I confirm that pop3 is very slow this last week.
And it took 100% of cpu each time.

When I look at paste I see that it's duplicate:
see:
seenUidTimeList=1460582993,1460582993,1460582993,1460582993,1460582993,1460582993,14605829

[kmail2] [Bug 361630] kmail default identity change has no effect

2016-04-25 Thread Laurent Montel via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361630

We don't store default setting info in each folder
we store when it's different from default
=> if you use "default" identity by default in folder when we change it will
change.

So perhaps I didn't understand the bug.

[kmail2] [Bug 362258] regression: drop file in composer no longer adds attachment or asks what to do

2016-04-25 Thread Martin Koller via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362258

It's konqueror from the openSuse package konqueror-16.04.0-1.7.x86_64
And what I see is that it's still the Qt4 based one ...

ok, now we see a difference here, but I also have the same problem with my own
Qt5 based app.

What did change ?
Does kmail now act on a different mime type ?
Why don't I get the popup any more ?
