[knotes] [Bug 352011] No notes after KDE login; knotes must be restarted

2016-05-29 Thread Fabio Coatti via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=352011

this issue is still present in knotes 16.04.1, qt 5.6.0 and plasma 5.6.4.

To recap: sometimes no notes are shown at all. Sometimes only some are, always
the same (in my case, two of them, not the most recent nor the most old).
Restarting akonadi server causes the notes to appear again.

Please let me know if some debug can be useful.

Ryein Goddard, have you tested this for kdepim 16.04 also?

Tested this again after a big upgrade and still the same behaviour.
This time: KDE-applications 16.04.1, KDE-frameworks 5.22.0 and KDE-plasma
5.6.4.

The output just before the crash:
org.kde.akonadi.ETM: GEN true false true
org.kde.akonadi.ETM: collection: QVector()
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

[kmail2] [Bug 363667] New: Moving mails: bad default action for enter key

2016-05-29 Thread C . Dominik Bódi via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363667

Bug ID: 363667
Summary: Moving mails: bad default action for enter key
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: commands and actions
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: dominik.b...@gmx.de

kmail 5.2.1 (not available in the version dropdown menu?)

It seems that with recent versions of kmail, the default action when pressing
the enter key changed from "ok" to "cancel".
This is really bad, especially when using the keyboard, as it destroys the
quick very ergonomic workflow. Now I have to select the "ok" button with the
mouse or use the tab key to select the "ok" button in order to complete moving
the mail. Formerly, simply pressing enter moved the mail.

Please make kmail revert to the old behaviour, that pressing the enter key in
the move mail dialog will actually move the mail. That way is much more
ergonomic, particularly when using the keyboard instead of the mouse.

Regards,
C. Dominik Bódi

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select an email
2. press "m" key to open "move mail" dialog.
3. type a few keys to select the right target folder for the move.
4. press "enter" key to complete the move.
5. watch that dialog closes but mail does not get moved.
6. realize why this happens, cry
7. realize that no kmail developer will ever look at this bug report. cry even
more.

Actual Results:
Mail did not get moved

Expected Results:
Mail should get moved to selected folder

[Akonadi] [Bug 325224] CalDav doesn't read server items

I have a similar issue with korganizer 16.04.1 on FW 5.22, Plasma 5.6.4. on my
Manjaro-System and on my Kubuntu 16.04 on a separate system in connection with
ownCloud 9.0.2 / Calendar 1.2.2 running on Ubuntu Server 14.04.4 .
Kontact can write new entries to ownCloud using the CalDav remote connection
but is not able to read entries from owncloud entered direcly via the owncloud
web interface or via CalDav from other clients .
On the same laptop as the Manjaro/KDE-Plasma installation I run a Suse
Tumbleweed installation with Gnome 3.20. Evolution works like a charm together
with my owncloud. There are no issues at all regarding sending and receiving
Calendar entries via CalDav.
Kubuntu and Suse/Gnome are using the libical1 library, Manjaro/KDE-Plasma is
using libical 2.0. That means - in my understanding - that the issues are not
libical related.
