[kmail2] [Bug 362958] After update KMail not interpreting Invite Emails

2016-07-06 Thread Craig via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362958

Hey Laurent or otherwise,
Any chance could provide some input when able? We may able to help track down
and resolve just need a little guidance as definitely want to get this resolved
ASAP for those of us who use KDE PIM for business or just who receive email
invitations in general. I've began running down the changes made from the last
release vs this one where it broke for clues to where the fault may be but some
guidance would do wonders, thanks!

Same crash here, Korganizer 5.1.3, Plasma 5.6.5, KDE Frameworks 5.23.0 with Qt
5.5.1, on Kubuntu 16.04 with Kubuntu-backports activated.

Starting typing in the Korganizer quicj search field crashes the app.
The search window from the "Modify > Search" menu works.

1. upgrade kmail to this version
2. kill all hung kmail processes and restart

There is still a bug that kmail does not stop running when you select quit from
file menu.
This is only when empty trash on exit selected. When empty trash on exit is
unselected
it quits properly.

Truncate too long Reference-Lines

If you answer a message which already contains a very long References line,
your message could generate a References line exceeding the Limit of 998
characters. This patch will truncate your References according to RFC 5537.

The RefTrim patch was designed by Michael Baeuerle and I testet on openSUSE
13.2 and knode 4.14.10.

I also confirm this bug.
I have updated to fedora 24 yesterday, which has KMail 5.2.2 on KDE 5.23.
I use breeze-dark.

I have tried replacing the mail-mark-unread / mail-mark-unread-new icons from
the oxygen theme but it's not apparently taken into account or i'm replacing
the wrong one.

It makes the icon itself invisible and the mail count unreadable.
It would be good to have a non-transparent "envelope" for the dark theme so
that the icon contrasts with the black tray background.
