[kmail2] [Bug 286522] message tags sloppy to uselessness

2016-10-10 Thread Cristian Tibirna via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=286522

Tags seem to work correctly now, "Filter by Status" got removed. I guess this
can be called a resolution. So closing this report should be OK.

I didn't see the described behaviour for a long time. I guess this could be
closed. Sorry for not having closed it myself when appropriate.

[Akonadi] [Bug 282374] "Kmail folders" and "Local folders" sets appear both in folders collection

2016-10-10 Thread Cristian Tibirna via KDE Bugzilla

It seems to be fixed now. The "Kmail folders" are not anymore added
automatically to configuration.

I guess this could be closed. Sorry for having lost it of sight.

[Akonadi] [Bug 282245] namespaces configuration still required

2016-10-10 Thread Cristian Tibirna via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=282245

We(In reply to Denis Kurz from comment #13)
> This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most
> akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

Well, I don't have access to that UW imapd server anymore (we replaced it with
dovecot some time ago) but I would guess that, as the discussion above clearly
states, as long as that server is still in use, a manual configuration for
Namespaces would be needed still.

> If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE
> Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Well, it would be a negative resolution for this report, but I guess, yeah, the
world evolves and some issues just go away by themselves.

I'd say, go ahead and close it. If someone finds the error again, most likely
they will also find this report too, even if marked closed.

I hate to be the party pooper. But I also still have problems with the
attachment icon showing up only randomly in the message list. This whole
feature actually *never* worked reliable for me in the whole KMail 4.x + 5.x
series.

Running kmail 5.2.3. Anything where I can help debugging?

i think i have a similar issue with kmail 5.1.3, it only happens regularly with
encrypted mails that came over a mailman list and have an unecrypted part
appended (listinfo): when i hit "reply", only this last part -- the listinfo
section -- is being used as reply text.

if the mail is encrypted as usual (no unencrypted parts), then kmail uses the
unencrypted mail content for the reply.

i can work around the issue by selecting the actual text before "reply".

Currently, there is also the option to select multiple mime parts (be it
‘attachments’ or other) and save them using “save as”, having delete
functionality in the same way, so not just for all attachments, would nicely
complete this feature.

Probably an Arch Linux packaging issue. See:
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/51302

If the bug owner is also using Arch Linux you may close this bug.

Yes, this is due to the CVE-2016-7967 patch, which breaks BC

I can confirm this issue with the latest stable kmail2 from Arch Linux. There
is no way to show a message (besides editing it). It seems that QWebEngine is
crashing:

This now works for me in kMail 5.3.0. This bug is tagged as "fixed in 5.2", so
you probably "just" need to wait for Linux Mint to upgrade your kMail package.

AFAIK kMail 5.1 is not supported any more and you won't get further bug fixes
for it.
