[kmail2] [Bug 376381] New: Ability to skip spell-check

2017-02-11 Thread Vishnu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376381

Bug ID: 376381
   Summary: Ability to skip spell-check
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.4.1
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: composer
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: vishn...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Currently, if I have spell-check enabled, I cannot skip it for a mail. It would
be nice if I could do so for mails that I do not want it to check.

[Akonadi] [Bug 375410] Can't fetch email from oauth configured GMail account

2017-02-11 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=375410

Finally got this working. There needs to be a symbolic link pointing from
libkdexoauth2.so to libkdexoauth2.so.3. Sasl then finds the plugin and all is
peachy! Is this a cmake problem or a packaging problem?

[Akonadi] [Bug 376379] New: Calendar folder name cannot be changed for iCal resources

2017-02-11 Thread Boian Berberov
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376379

Bug ID: 376379
Summary: Calendar folder name cannot be changed for iCal
resources
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: bberberov+...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 103993
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=103993=edit
Korganizer Screenshot

The names of iCal resources cannot be changed.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Korganizer
2. Right-click in the Calendar Manager and select "Add Calendar ..."

Chose either one:

3. Select ICal Calendar folder and create
4. Create the resource
5. Right-click on the newly created calendar in the Calendar Manager and select
"Folder Properties"
6. Change the calendar name and OK
7. Close Korganizer
8. Open Korganizer
9. Calendar name is not preserved!

3. Select ICal Calendar File and create
4. Create the resource, give it a name.
5. Right-click on the newly created calendar in the Calendar Manager and select
"Folder Properties"
6. Change the calendar name and OK
7. Close Korganizer
8. Open Korganizer
9. Calendar name is not preserved!

I use several calendars and it makes it very difficult to create new events and
add them to the right calendar.

I just updated openSUSE Tumbleweed and Korganizer says it's version 5.4.1.
openSUSE says akonadi-server is version 16.12.1-2.1

[kmail2] [Bug 375445] KMail2 hangs with 100% CPU usage when trying to preview or read large emails from IMAP server

2017-02-11 Thread George L . Emigh
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=375445

I have the exact same problem with Kmail and Dovecot IMAP Server

After this version of Kmail came out, I thought I'd give it another try, it's
been a few years since Kmail stopped being usable for me, and I would really
like to return to it, this problem is still a blocker, I have hundreds of large
emails, and Thunderbird opens them fine, and quickly I might add, but Kmail
can't even get a 1.2 Meg email open, Have not found the lower limit yet, I'll
try and test it when I can get Kmail to actually start again.

Software
KDE Plasma Version: 5.9.1
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.30.0
QT Version: 5.7.1
Kernel Version: 4.9.9-gentoo
OS Type: 64-bit

Hardware
Processors: 4 x AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 970 Processor
Memory: 15.7 GiB of RAM

It seems, there is still hardcoded white background color (it shows, after
messageviewer starting to load email content, and before it shows it (with
applied messageviewer theme).

So:
1) it still hurts eyes
2) it is white scrollbar even in themed view because of that.

// Although, now I use KMail with QtWebengine, and now QtWebkit like before, if
it makes sense

[Akonadi] [Bug 338658] GMail, Novell Groupwise, other IMAP: "Multiple merge candidates, aborting"

2017-02-11 Thread Dennis Schridde
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=338658

Then I request to reopen this, please.

I saw the message "Multiple merge candidates, aborting" while using KMail 5.4.1
(KDE Applications 16.12.1) as mentioned before (comment #65) and I still see it
in KMail 5.4.2 (KDE Applications 16.12.2). KMail also regularly refused to sync
the IMAP account where this happens until I restart Akonadi.
