[kmail2] [Bug 373040] Stop line wrapping long links
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373040 --- Comment #7 from William L. Thomson Jr. --- Turning off word wrap does stop this bug then text is also not wrapped. Ideally any time a line starts with http or www, etc or anything matching a URL per regex should disable line wrapping for that line. That way you can leave word wrapping on, but links will not be wrapped. And/or wrap links in way that they show wrapped visually, but actual text is not wrapped when sent. Either way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Akonadi] [Bug 377399] kontact loses imap connections constantly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=377399 --- Comment #1 from Steve --- This happened another 3 or 4 times today. Is there any troubleshooting information you might want? Sometimes it segfaults, sometimes the front-end just cannot communicate at all. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Clicking on mail causes it to say its getting the email but it never does. I restart kontact many, many times to get it to work. Its like the front end and the back end cannot communicate reliably. [Akonadi] [Bug 339093] under kmail 4.14.0, mail filtering randomly stops working
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=339093 --- Comment #15 from Maurice Batey --- > ...screwed up all my folders Well, screwed up *access* to the folders, which are still all there in my /mail Maildir directory, but Kmail itself is showing a skeleton Inbox/Sent etc structure - empty of emails - instead! [If I pass the /mail directory to Kmail on another installation, they display normally there, so obviously there is some Kmail control function that is failing to display the true email database in /mail on the old system.. Still trying to figure out what/where that is...] -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Akonadi] [Bug 377553] regression: error dialog when server can not be reached
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=377553 --- Comment #2 from Martin Koller --- you disagree with that's annoying to dismiss a dialog every 5 minutes because I'm in a network which does not allow to reach a POP server ? Then why don't you disagree with the fact that this seems only be done with POP, but not with IMAP or WebDav ? If that information is now so super important (why was it not that important in the last few versions?), then at least please use a passive notification instead of the disturbing dialog I need to click at. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Akonadi] [Bug 339093] under kmail 4.14.0, mail filtering randomly stops working
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=339093 --- Comment #13 from gra...@howlingfrog.com --- Some other interesting behaviour I've noticed here... When I have problems with the mail filtering not working any longer, the following procedure manages to get things running smoothly again: 1) Close/quit KMail 2) Stop Akonadi, with "akonadictl stop". Necessary as both KMail+Akonadi are stuck waiting on something. 3) Restart Akonadi, with "akonadictl start" 4) Open "akonadiconsole" 5) Use the "Browse" tab to go to my Inbox, then right-click on the folder and select "Clear Akonadi Cache". 6) Close "akonadiconsole" 7) Start KMail; all good now! The "Clear Akonadi Cache" also seems to resolve all sorts of other problems that I've bumped into w.r.t. KMail/Akonadi stalling out while trying to fetch messages from Akonadi, as well as issues with duplicate messages in folders. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[kmail2] [Bug 375445] KMail2 hangs with 100% CPU usage when trying to preview or read large emails from IMAP server
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=375445 --- Comment #2 from Rodney Baker --- In version 5.4.2 this behaviour has now changed. The message is still never displayed, but at least KMail does not hang, and if I open the message and select "View Source" I can view the entire message (and it loads very quickly). Nothing I can do, however, makes it display in the preview window or by opening the message, except when viewing the message source. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Timeout on server securemail.a1.net: Socket operation timed out" In previous KDE Version (16.08) no error dialog was thrown at the user, and the problem was silently ignored in the background. Please restore the previous behavior. A background resource should not throw a dialog onto the user but behave silent in this case.
