@diego

use your software manager to search if kontact package and all kde pim suite
packages(akregator, kmail, kaddressbook, korganizer, knotes) version is 17.03
or sooner as for example 17.04.

note: i don't speak about application version but package version.

It's a QtWebEngine regression. QupZilla also shows similar behavior, see
e.g. the start page, where only the rectangle in the top center is light
gray, the rest comes up white for me.

[akregator] [Bug 379522] New: Selecting articles doesn't automatically focus the content anymore

2017-05-04 Thread Marc González Majoral
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379522

Bug ID: 379522
Summary: Selecting articles doesn't automatically focus the
content anymore
   Product: akregator
   Version: 5.4.3
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: gons...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

When reading my feeds, I always go keyboard-only navigation. So I was used to
use both "+" for next unread and left/right arrows for prev/next articles.

Sadly, after updating to Kontact 5.4.3 (Applications 16.12.3?), when using the
keys to navigate through articles, I can't use "Av pag" or "Re pag" to scroll
down and up the articles themselves without clicking to "focus" them (on the
article's box). This is very unpleasant. It also happens if you go to any
article by clicking on its name in the article's list.

I guess it has to do with the change to using QWebEngine. I hope this can be
fixed but it will be hard to wait 6 months for the next distro release :(

Bug ID: 379510
Summary: Event templates do not work
   Product: korganizer

Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal

 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org

When trying to apply a template there is an error.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new event.
2. Edit the event and go to "Templates..." (bottom left corner of edit dialog).
3. Click "New..." and save under a name.
4. Click OK twice.
5. Create new event.
6. Got to "Templates...", select the previously created template and hit
"Apply".

What should happen:
The event fields should be populated according to the template.

What actually happens:
There is an error: "Unable to find template ''." and no field is populated.

[kmail2] [Bug 379509] New: Message not found

2017-05-04 Thread Mark Stanton
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=379509

Bug ID: 379509
   Summary: Message not found
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.4.3
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: message list
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org

  Target Milestone: ---

I (very) frequently get "Message not found" responses. KMail fails to find a
message, spends a couple of minutes trying and then gives a message in the
bottom bar of the type "Failed to retrieve message from backend".

I think I have an idea of the cause.

Since I'm using KMail as the main message agent, I have many filters.
Since I also have some messages with a completely empty body in the mailbox
from which they're collected which then also appear in the folder a filter
redirects them to, I suspect that both these faults are because the filtering
process picks up the message before it has been completely received.

No, no evidence. What would constitute useful evidence here?
This error occurs several times a week for me so if there's information that
would help just let me know.

Mails with information about VCALENDER Events or *.ics Events are not displayed
as calendar events. When using an old instance, like e3.5, all events in mails
are displayed correctly.

kcmshell5 workaround doensn't work for me, since there is no "formats" module
installed.

The problem persists. Also: I cant change the week beginning to Monday, instead
of Sunday.

Can only speak for Archlinux and version 17.04.0-1 (Should be git-master)
