Um, I can't because I do not know. How can I tell? Given that I cannot find any
process with a name that contains "note", I'd guess that it was a widget
running under KDE. Same comment, but different people. Sorry.

[kontact] [Bug 381538] New: Menu bar disappeared

2017-06-22 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381538

Bug ID: 381538
   Summary: Menu bar disappeared
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: conta...@protonmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Kontact 5.5.2

Menu bar of all the Kontact apps disappeared.

Deleting "MenuBar=Disabled" entries in /home/remi/.config/kontactrc and
relogging fixes it.

A quick search shows numerous people are affected by this bug.

The shortcut "show menu bar" (ctrl+m by default) does nothing in Kontact.

[Akonadi] [Bug 381530] New: Akonadi OpenXchange Resource seems to be broken

2017-06-22 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381530

Bug ID: 381530
Summary: Akonadi OpenXchange Resource seems to be broken
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: OpenXchange Resource
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: grillma...@outlook.com
  Target Milestone: ---

System: Manjaro Linux 17.0.1 with latest updates
Akonadi: 17.04.2-3

The Open-Xchange Feature of Akonadi seems to be somewhat broken.
When trying to set-up a new OX Calendar in KOrganizer, akonadictl gives
following error message:
Error: Unable to fetch resource collections: "Hierarchical RID does not specify
an existing collection"
Note: the set-up process finishes without errors in KOrganizer itself, just no
data is synchronized.

Restarting akonadi through akonadictl gives following error:
org.kde.pim.akonadicontrol: ProcessControl: Application
"/usr/bin/akonadi_openxchange_resource" stopped unexpectedly ( "Der Prozess ist
abgestürzt" )
org.kde.pim.akonadicontrol: Application '/usr/bin/akonadi_openxchange_resource'
crashed. No restart!

If you need log files etc. feel free to ask.

Best regards

[Akonadi] [Bug 381520] New: sync problems in disconnected mode

2017-06-22 Thread Martin Tlustos
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381520

Bug ID: 381520
Summary: sync problems in disconnected mode
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 5.5.1
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: IMAP resource
  Assignee: chrig...@fastmail.fm
  Reporter: martin.tlus...@gmail.com
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org, vkra...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

kmail has problems with syncing to my google account in d-imap mode. "Read
status" does not get synced back to google (but only for some emails, others
get synced o.k.), when saving a draft, it does not show up in google etc.

Disabling disconnected mode solves the problem, but then kmail sometimes takes
very long to load a new email or opening a folder.

[kmail2] [Bug 381519] New: remove duplicates options do not work

2017-06-22 Thread BingMyBong
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381519

Bug ID: 381519
Summary: remove duplicates options do not work
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.5.1
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: folders
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: bingmyb...@btinternet.com
  Target Milestone: ---

The two kmail "Remove duplicates" options are very unreliable, it used to
work fine.

when selecting the first "Remove Duplicate Messages" option, I now always get
2 popup error messages then it stops processing:

Error occurred during removing duplicate emails: 'Unable to fetch item from
backend (collection 16) : Unable to retrieve item from resource: [LRCONFLICT]
Resource akonadi_maildir_resource_0 tries to modify item 3253 () (in
collection 16) with dirty payload, aborting STORE.

Followed by
Error occurred during removing duplicate emails: 'Unable to fetch item from
backend (collection 16) : Unable to retrieve item from resource: [LRCONFLICT]
Resource akonadi_maildir_resource_0 tries to modify item 3253 () (in
collection 16) with dirty payload, aborting STORE.'

And if i use the 2nd option on Folder menu to remove all from this folder and
sub folders, it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't even seem to run at all.

One other failing is that no progress bar or indicator is shown.
