KMail for the most part continues this trend. However, while the frame containing the message view scales appropriately with DPI, the message window itself does not scale appropriately with DPI. The result is a message view that is much too small for the corresponding space (and my eyes). I was unable to find if this was patched upstream. Sorry if this is a duplicate.
