[kmail2] [Bug 136804] Wrong "Help" for MDN (Message Disposition Notifications)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=136804 --- Comment #8 from Rugart Fertsch --- The situation is unchanged in KMail 5.2.3 / KDE Plasma 5.9.4 . The HELP text is the same as in previous versions of KMail (1.9.5 and 4.13.3). Who sends an e-mail with a MDN (read receipt) request does not get to know whether the e-mail was deleted by the other part. The 'Ask', 'Deny' and 'Always Send' options for the MDN "Send Policy" produce the same effect : when the e-mail receiver opens the e-mail message, a widget asks what he wants do do about the MDN. However, 3 different options should have 3 different results. And this widget has 3 answers: "Ignore", "Send" or "Send 'denied' ". Clicking "Ignore" produces the expected behavior, sends nothing. But "Send" and "Send 'denied' " send the same answer ( "Send 'denied' " does not mention 'denied'). Regards, Rugart Fertsch -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=355298 --- Comment #9 from Andre Heinecke --- I still can't reproduce. The settings are also greyed out for me even though it's a personal workstation installation where I am admin. I think they only relate to remote DCOM which we don't use. So I tried to disable connection oriented TCP/IP globally in "My Computer -> Properties" and it still worked. Even with no DCOM-Protocols are enabled. What is the setting that is different for you? Do you know what I need to block to have something similar? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
