[kmail2] [Bug 382852] Rechtschreibprüfung funzt nicht

2017-08-23 Thread gilada
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382852

Believe it solved.
I have installed the packages 'libenchant-dev' and 'sonnet-plugins'.

The message 'no backend...' in the system setting has been replaced by many
languages that are to be selected.

And after restarting kmail it also works the spelling, hooray.
For my it's fixed, thanks.

[korganizer] [Bug 240487] Color settings for overdue todo is not honored

One of my todos just went "due today", and the "due today" color is correctly
applied: The todo would be blue category-wise (and was blue until yesterday),
but is painted in orange now.

I also created a mock todo that is due yesterday, with the same category, and
it is painted in red.

This is 5.5.3. However, I don't think that anything regarding colors was done
in KOrganizer since 5.4.1.

Boian: Is it possible that you hit another issue? Did you take the exact steps
from the original report, creating a completely new todo due in the past? Could
it be related to your config being migrated from KOrganizer 4.x to 5.x?

There are a few recent duplicates of this same bug:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381929
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=378513

As one user mentioned, the frustrating part is that it attempts to save a
backup to ~/.local/share/akregator/data//feeds.opml, but even that file is
corrupted. All feeds are lost and replaced with the default feeds. I'm on KDE
Neon user edition.

2017-08-23 Thread MichaelOF

Bug ID: 383934
Summary: DAV-Groupware resource for owncloud uses incorrect
encoding (not UTF-8)
   Product: kaddressbook
   Version: 5.5.2
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: michae...@rocketmail.com
CC: to...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

Using kAddressBook with a DAV-Groupware resource to sync with cardDAV contacts
store in my OwnCloud instance, on my private VPS. Both VPS and kAddressBook
"client" are OpenSuse 42.3, Plasma 5.8.7.

EVERYTHING set to UTF-8, including Apache, MariaDB/MySQL etc., both on VPS and
local KDE client.

Wrong encoding, non-UTF-8, in kaddressbook. E.g. German Umlaut "ü" is shown as
"ü"

No issue when syncing with
- Android Contacts (using DAVdroid)
- iPad Contacts(even with bloody old iOS)
- Thunderbird AddressBook (with Inverse SOGo connector)

Well, personal attacks don't make it any more likely to get a bug fixed, that's
for sure. If you know how a handful of developers can spend the time on Kontact
development with its hundreds of thousands of lines of code and thousands of
bugs more efficiently, or how we might be able to finally recruit new
developers willing to spend their free time on Kontact, or if you're willing to
pay a developer to fix bugs, please let us know. Of course, you're still very
welcome to contribute patches yourself (you might already have the social
skills needed to be a developer after all) or to start reporting bugs again,
but less welcome to make it even less attractive to be a KDE developer by
complaining about them.

Regards

as breeze for example ?

[kontact] [Bug 383916] New: Kontact navigator toolbar not right-aligned in KOrganizer parts

2017-08-23 Thread Erik Quaeghebeur
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383916

Bug ID: 383916
Summary: Kontact navigator toolbar not right-aligned in
KOrganizer parts
   Product: kontact
   Version: 5.5.3
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: calendar
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: kdeb...@equaeghe.nospammail.net
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 107485
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=107485&action=edit
right-aligned

The navigation toolbar available in Kontact is shown right-aligned for KMail,
Akregator, the overview, Kaddressbook, but left-aligned for the KOrganizer
parts (tasks, calendar, journal).

For consistency, one alignment should be used throughout all
Kontact-sub-applications. My preference is for it to be right-aligned.

I can see the same problem on Ubuntu-16.04 + Neon

libqt5webengine5 5.9.1+dfsg-2+16.04+xenial+build36

The problem is still there after upgrade to KDE-applications 17.08.0

It is possible to disable DrKonqi and enable the generation of core files
instead. Those can be evaluated after a reboot.

Please ask in a forum of your distribution for help.

[kholidays] [Bug 383896] New: Israel's holidays are not displayed

2017-08-23 Thread Wolfgang Bauer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383896

Bug ID: 383896
Summary: Israel's holidays are not displayed
   Product: kholidays
   Version: git
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
   URL: http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1053947
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: wba...@tmo.at
  Target Milestone: ---

If you choose "Israel (English)" or "Israel (Hebrew)" holidays in KOrganizer's
settings (and restart KOrganizer), no holidays are displayed at all.

I suppose that's because kholidays' QCalendarSystem class
(src/parsers/qcalendarsystem.cpp) seems to have no support for the Hebrew
calendar implemented.

That's with the latest version 5.6.0 (from KDE Applications 17.08.0).
