Compose an email in Kmail. Click select, while the address are loading it crashes. Remove the contact from Kaddressbook and "akonadaictl restart" corrects this. Dark text on dark background and white on white, etc. I also had theme issue with Thunderbird and Firefox but it's easy to fix with their own dark themes and "apply colors to non-qt app" unchecked or with css configuration. The sum shown as "TOTAL" basically resembles wall clock time, as Akonadi loads the CPU 100% (actually mysqld). I tried all possible encodings (from the display menu) and different fonts, in particular Chinese character fonts that display alright in every other KDE application. Whe I answer the email, the cited text looks correct, so it's a problem of the message viewer only (and not the composer window).
