[kdepim] [Bug 386691] New: The assitant for the import of email crashes after import of an archive. Emails seem to have been migrated correctly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=386691 Bug ID: 386691 Summary: The assitant for the import of email crashes after import of an archive. Emails seem to have been migrated correctly Product: kdepim Version: unspecified Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Keywords: drkonqi Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: importwizard Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: staka...@freenet.de Target Milestone: --- Application: importwizard (5.5.2) Qt Version: 5.6.2 Frameworks Version: 5.32.0 Operating System: Linux 4.4.76-1-default x86_64 Distribution: "openSUSE Leap 42.3" -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: I was importing an tar.bz2 kmail archive to a new kmail5 (migrated). The automatic migration failed, no email was imported from the previous install. - Unusual behavior I noticed: After(!) importing the whole set of directories and messages to "local folders" the application crashed and konqi popped up. The emails seem(!) (have to check) to have been successfully imported though. - Custom settings of the application: Kmail was closed prior to import. The current messages from the server where downloaded previous to the import. The import was selected from the menu and the file choosen from the local Document folder of kde. This is an import due to migration from Leap 42.2 to 42.3 that forces the migration from Kmail4 to Kmail5. Automatic migration - although visible in "top" was not working though. Manual seem to have worked but with the crash. -- Backtrace: Application: PIM-Import-Werkzeug (importwizard), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/libthread_db.so.1".
