[Akonadi] [Bug 386985] akonadi CalDav resource not synching with certain servers

2018-01-10 Thread Christoph Feck
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=386985

Revert from comment 7 is not a revert from the patch in comment #2.

Unfortunately phabricator keeps the repository for a commit as a private
secret, so I cannot even comment on the relation between those commits.

Anyway, if you are still affected with 5.7.0, then the commit from comment #2
was not effective to resolve the issue.

[kmail2] [Bug 388790] New: SMTP does not support OAuth2

2018-01-10 Thread Marcin Juszkiewicz
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388790

Bug ID: 388790
Summary: SMTP does not support OAuth2
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: mar...@juszkiewicz.com.pl
  Target Milestone: ---

After years of using Thunderbird I decided to try KMail again. Installed, added
private IMAP account and two work related GMail accounts.

After "fetch mail" button press I got OAuth2 requests for both work related
GMail accounts and mail got fetched. I read, remove, marked as important etc.
All worked.

Then I wanted to reply to an email. Wrote reply and pressed "Send". And then
instead of just sending that mail I got "Enter SMTP password" requester...

My GMail password would not work here so I did not gave it. "Application
specific" passwords are disabled on work accounts.

Do I have to go back to Thunderbird?

Munzir, if your attempts to contact your distribution failed, I would recommend
to try reporting it to the Qt bug tracker.

There are some commits in QtWebEngine that could be related to your problem.
See for example:

[kmail2] [Bug 388788] New: Kmail crashes answering to some html emails with embedded images

2018-01-10 Thread Flavio Picci
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388788

Bug ID: 388788
Summary: Kmail crashes answering to some html emails with
embedded images
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.5.3
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: flavio.pi...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: kmail (5.5.3)

Qt Version: 5.9.1
Frameworks Version: 5.38.0
Operating System: Linux 4.10.0-37-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 17.10

-- Information about the crash:
Kmail crashes every time I reply to some emails with html content and big
embedded images. After restarting it, the draft is automatically opened and in
place of the images there are "file not found" icons as big as the image should
be.
This behaviour is consistent when replying to the said emails and seems to be
independent from what I'm doing or which programs are running.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

My bug is about wayland. Please, read the title.

> since wayland still does not support the nvidia

I don't care about nvidia. I disabled it and only using intel.

If the problem is not specific to Arch Linux, it shouldn't be closed as
downstream. Please, reopen this bug or clarify the situation.

[Akonadi] [Bug 388773] New: Kerberos ticket is not automatically renewed when expired

2018-01-10 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388773

Bug ID: 388773
Summary: Kerberos ticket is not automatically renewed when
expired
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: EWS Resource
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: extraver...@gmail.com
CC: kri...@op.pl
  Target Milestone: ---

I have kerberos configured on my system using sssd. When I open kmail it
successfully obtains new ticket but when the ticket expires (and akonadi server
running) akonadi does not renew it. I have these messages in log:

org.kde.pim.ews.client: Failed to process EWS request - HTTP code 401
org.kde.pim.ews.client: Failed to process EWS request: Access to restricted
port in POST denied.
org.kde.pim.ews.client: Failed to process EWS request: Access to restricted
port in POST denied.

I have to manually restart akonadi to obtain new ticket

[kmail2] [Bug 388772] New: Filter: Hitting "Apply" resets target folder to "empty"

2018-01-10 Thread Tilman Vogel
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388772

Bug ID: 388772
Summary: Filter: Hitting "Apply" resets target folder to
"empty"
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.5.2
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: misc
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: tilman.vo...@web.de
  Target Milestone: ---

I am using an IMAP account.
I created a new client-side filter with a single "move-to-folder" action. After
selecting the target folder and hitting "apply" (because I want to manually
apply the filter to a given folder and it complained, I needed to first "save"
the filter), the target folder text edit is reset to empty.
Because I don't want to try the filter with an empty target folder, I cannot do
the filtering.

Of course _not_ wayland, since wayland still does not support the nvidia
