https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389444 Bug ID: 389444 Summary: Items should not be selected automatically when the item list changes Product: akregator Version: 5.7.1 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: harald.demian.brun...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- If an item is selected and a search term is entered another item will automatically be selected. This behaviour is bad because it unintendedly causes items to be marked as read if the automatic marking feature is enabled. When the list updates multiple times while searching a term this will even cause multiple practically random items to be marked. The same thing also can happen when a feed is updated. At this point the currently selected (read) item will be removed from the list and another item is selected. So if the reader is left alone this can cause numerous articles to be falsely marked over time. I think items should be prevented from being automatically selected when the selected item disappears from the list. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389471 Bug ID: 389471 Summary: Navigator tool bar is cleared on startup Product: kontact Version: unspecified Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: mr...@posteo.de Target Milestone: --- Hi. I am using the navigator tool bar instead of the switcher on the left side for switching between the components such as KMail, KOrganizer, etc.. I removed the text from the buttons with the option available in the preferences of the tool bars. However, each time I start Kontact, the buttons of this specific tool bar disappear (The tool bar is clear - the other remain where and as they are) until I make some adjustments to the navigator tool bar: Opening its preferences, add text to one button (or change order), apply, and the tool bar appears (Then obviously remove the text as I don't want it - low display resolution).
