This might be because of a deprecated PGP2 Key for which support was removed in
recent versions of GnuPG. Kleopatra does not indicate import errors there
nicely (because we don't get a good result from GnuPG) but we have it on our
todo to improve that. https://dev.gnupg.org/T3776

Please try on the command line ( CMD.exe ) to import just using GnuPG ( gpg
--verbose --import ) which might show a better error.

Activate the plugin "expert" it's not a end user action.

We have it in menu->display.
It's enough.

In message menu is enum too.

We have them in menu it's enough otherwise popup menu is too big.

Done

Nope I will not add more menu entry as I reduce it.

We have statushtmlbar for it.

Swapped messages

When I first noticed the problem, the situation was as shown in the 2
screenshot pieces on the left side of the attached image, that is: selecting
one entry in the message list (let's call it message A) showed the content of
another email (message B); then, clicking on the message list entry seemingly
representing message B actually showed message A.

Then I restarted KMail and now it's similar but different, as showed in the 2
screenshot pieces on the right side of the attached image, that is: pairs of
emails are threaded in wrong, swapped positions, but this time the content
shown in the message pane belongs to the entry selected in the message list.

This happens with several pairs of emails.

Since recently (?) some actions are missing from the mailing list and mail view
context menu:

- show message structure
- use fixed font
- view source (available in Message menu, but not context menus)
- maybe more, but the above I actually miss

They also don't show up in the menu - one has to know their shortcut to trigger
them, which is not very discoverable.

Volker just showed me how to switch between a plain-text email and its HTML
version: Click on the vertical (!) "Plain Message" text in the grey bar next to
the text. That is super non-obvious...

I'd prefer if mixed-mime messages with both HTML and Plain message also get a
clear indication about the availability of an HTML version in the Fancy header,
similar to pure HTML mails. Additionally, the "Plain Message" vertical text
should at least get a Pointer cursor and some hover effect to make it clear
that you can interact with this like with a button.

Finally please also add an action to switch between Plain and HTML versions to
the context menu on the message view.

Since a few weeks the composer window regularly freezes on me when I try to
send an email. The backtrace shows that the main thread is sitting in the glib
event loop, nothing clearly indicating what happens. Restarting kmail fixes
this issue. I sign my mails, so I suspect this is due to some hickup in the
gpg-agent/pinentry communication.

I can't yet give more inforatmion, as I don't know what to look out for. Any
help welcome, I see this regularly (once a day or so). Volker also said that
he's seeing this since recently. Both of us are on rolling release distros, so
it's either a recent update in the KDE PIM stack, or beneath in gpg/pinentry...
Hard to tell at this point.
