Bug is still present exactly as described in:
- KMail-17.04.2/5.5.2 with desktop environment version 5.8.7 on openSUSE-42.3
- KMail-17.12.2/5.7.2 with desktop environment version 5.12.1 on
openSUSE-Tumbleweed-Snapshot20180221

Nothing changed about the bug description. So I'm not sure if this should be a
new bug.

[akregator] [Bug 390895] interval in seconds

2018-02-22 Thread haarman
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390895

See my previous comment. I wanted to set different timings so to achieve that
the feeds get updated spread over the interval. (So it could be set to minimal
50 seconds or so to to prevent overloading but I suppose that a server returns
a 304 when nothing changed so it does not really cause a high load.)

So an initial interval and follow up would be best I suppose.

Some worry that a 10 minute interval is server abuse, and you need seconds?
Why?

There is a link [Add this contact to the address book] in the message area of
an email that has an attached business card that should allow you to import it
directly into your contacts. Clicking on this link does nothing. You have to
save the file to disk and then import via the contacts.
This is what is displayed in the bottom left hand corner of kmail when you
click on the link: x-kmail:/bodypart/1/2/addToAddressBook%3A0

[akregator] [Bug 390895] interval in seconds

2018-02-22 Thread haarman
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390895

By the way: not sure how the feeds are downloaded but a first interval and
follow up interval would be nice. (so that if you have 10 feeds and you can set
the interval on 10 minutes but the initial interval on 0-9 so each minute one
feed is downloaded).

I can only select 'Minutes, Hours, Days, Never' there. (version 5.2.3)

If seconds can be added it be nice (with high values possible)
