[kontact] [Bug 398577] closing a message subwindow crashes Kontact

2019-01-14 Thread bugzilla_noreply

This problem is getting worse. It used to only happen for me when I clicked
the trash icon directly from the email, but now it's starting to crash when I
close the email window via the [X]. Not every time (yet), but enough that
Kontact is becoming all but unusable.

[kmail2] [Bug 403208] New: Short name of favorite folder results in improperly shown number of unread messages

2019-01-14 Thread Dominik Smrž
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=403208

Bug ID: 403208
Summary: Short name of favorite folder results in improperly
shown number of unread messages
   Product: kmail2
   Version: Git (master)
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: UI
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: dominiks...@seznam.cz
  Target Milestone: ---

If you add a folder to your favorite folders and rename it to something short,
the number indicating number of unread messages does not display properly in
"List mode". To be precise the box where the number of unread messages is at
most as long as the box for displaying the name (i.e. it shows "(12" instead of
"(123)").

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Add a folder to you via drag-n-drop
2. Let there (in the folder) be at least 10 unread messages
3. Rename the folder to something short like "a"
4. Choose list mode (right click favorites -> mode -> list mode)

OBSERVED RESULT
The number of unread messages is shorted. I.e. it shows "(12" instead of
"(123)", sometimes it displays only half of a digit.

EXPECTED RESULT
To display number of unread messages in full

Arch has a binary update system, and on other comps all is OK, with same
versions of packets. Arch don't give us debug packets.
What I can make to help you help me?

The backtrace isn't useful to find the source of your issue, please read

If your Qt build was updated recently, also make sure akonadi was rebuilt with
this version.

[knotes] [Bug 324840] sync notes with owncloud notes app

Well, I was about to suggest this. As per in 2019 I think is a basic feature
for a notes application to sync with popular public and private cloud
providers, like nextcloud or google drive, to mention one of each.

I know it not critical at all, but I would stop using other notes applications
if Knotes has some other "modern" features like this.
