[Akonadi] [Bug 404990] Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404990 --- Comment #85 from Dirk Tombaugh --- Right now I would say the single point of failure is on Google. KDE (Daniel and everyone else) can only do so much. They don't have the pull of say Microsoft. It is frustrating, but instead of commenting here about it being a KDE issue, we need to start complaining to Google (if that is even possible). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[Akonadi] [Bug 404990] Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404990 --- Comment #84 from bwl --- So comment 50 by Daniel on 18.08.2019 Indicated a request to have the login enabled again was submitted Since then . . . . What? Please understand this is not aimed at Daniel. He stated that he is too busy, but also that the KDE e.V.board has access to the API keys and can delegate this task to others if Daniel has no time. Therefore we need to know when was the last contact with Google and when can we expect a response. The KDE e.V. board need to wake up and start handling this properly and professionally. No single point of failure. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404990 --- Comment #82 from bwl --- Are we going to throw a party for this poor little bug when it is a year old ? What a complete shambles. Who owns this problem and what is being done to progress it? The lack of concrete information is shameful. Can someone please take responsibility for this and provide an update. No more workarounds or blame shifting. Be professional. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
