same thing here on Debian 10
Akregator - Version 5.9.3

I completely wiped out my Akregator settings (including ~/.cache/akregator),
imported an .opml file.

I added a duplicate for one of the feeds, and the "date" showed up as year
2106.

I looked again in the the feeds that were set and noticed a feed was a
duplicate.

I am testing the duplicate rss feed issue with this one,
http://planet.kernel.org/rss20.xml

The datestamp for the first copy of this feed is correct, but if a copy of this
feed is used, all the datestamps for the second feed become 2106 for the year.

I notice this bug report is assigned to Akonadi. But KAccounts also suffers
from the same issue.
Should we perhaps create another bug report about it, or would that be a
duplicate ?

I'm also facing this bug but using external Exchange (EWS) calendar. The
calendar events which are unconfirmed by me are not shown in the EWS calendar
and neither in Open Invitations virtual calendar. But Kontact lists them in the
summary view.

I'm able to browse the missing events in Akonadi Console so they definitely are
fetched OK but Korganizer is filtering them out from the original calendar,
most likely because they're Open/Declied Invitations. But the Open/Declined
Invitations virtual calendars aren't working properly because those events are
missing from there also.

Specific folders, e.g. the one holding a large mailing list, can also be
excluded from the new mail count:

Menu bar - Folder - Folder Properties - General tab

Turn off "Act on new/unread mail in this folder".

KMail settings / Appearance / General tab. There's a "show unread email in
taskbar" box.

2019-12-10 Thread ederag
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388869

After adding a filter:
- match all messages
- Executed Command: /usr/bin/sleep 1,
no duplicates for months.
(on openSUSE Leap-15.0)

This is only a workaround,
and maybe a clue to find what's going on.

[kmail2] [Bug 415015] New: hide unread email count from taskbar icons

2019-12-10 Thread ederag
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415015

Bug ID: 415015
Summary: hide unread email count from taskbar icons
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.10.3
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: ed...@gmx.fr
  Target Milestone: ---

After upgrading to openSUSE Leap 15.1, kmail still works fine, good !

Yet I have been puzzled by the 9,999+ label over the icon in the task bar.
This is actually the unread email count newly added by
https://phabricator.kde.org/D9841

This is useless for + unread mails
(a mailing list I'm either searching in,
or filtering on previously read messages);
but even if the count was meaningful,
I would much prefer to hide this unread count
when not in the task of consulting mails.

Is there any way to turn this feature off ? (none found yet)
