[kmail2] [Bug 416803] New: Junk mail in Trash folder count as unread email in Inbox

2020-01-26 Thread brotakul
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=416803

Bug ID: 416803
Summary: Junk mail in Trash folder count as unread email in
Inbox
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.11.3
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: folders
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: raduer...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Any junk mail that is filtered and sent directly to Trash folder is still
counted as unread mail in the Inbox folder. Only after viewing those emails
from trash or emptying the Trash folder, the unread email count is shown
correctly.
The "Act on new/unread mail in this folder" option for the Trash folder is
disabled (unticked), but still these mails count as unread in Inbox.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1.
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
New/unread mail in Trash folder counts as new/unread mail in Inbox.

EXPECTED RESULT
Since the "Act on new/unread mail in this folder" option for the Trash folder
is unticked/disabled, new/unread mail in Trash should not count as new/unread
mail in Inbox.

[akregator] [Bug 256034] Feed content is displayed with date 07.02.2106 07:28

2020-01-26 Thread Philippe ROUBACH

opensuse Argon 15.1
kde app 19.12.1
plasma 5.17.5
kde framework 5.66.0
qt 5.14.0

It seems last version of kde environment solves mainly the problem.

i saved the list of feeds
i deleted all data about akregator:

~/.config/akregatorrc
~/.local/akregator/

i launched akregator and restored feeds and settings.

Since this time no more date problem even in case of a kontact crash or an
akregator crash.

It remains: for a few feeds sometime some fields are blank.

Not working order by date akregator screenshot

AFAICS, the order is correct in the screenshot.
The problem seems to be that some articles have a date/time of 07/02/06 07:28,
which is actually 07-02-2106 and therefore newer than 26-01-2020.

[Akonadi] [Bug 386010] KMail2 fails to archive folder

2020-01-26 Thread Thorsten Otto
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=386010

As already noted, in the GUI i don't get any hint about which message was
involved. IIRC it had something to do with duplicate mails, and one of them
being rejected. All i can see in the journal log is:

ItemRetrievalJob for request 0x7f20c007f210 finished with error: "Unable to
retrieve item from resource: [LRCONFLICT] Resource akonadi_maildir_resource_0
tries to modify item 13106 () (in collection 17) with dirty payload, aborting
STORE.

But that is not the main problem. I could live with the fact that single mails
would be skipped during archiving, especially if they are really duplicates.
But i cannot live with the fact that the whole archiving process is aborted,
leaving a truncated & damaged archive behind.

Not working order by date akregator screenshot

SUMMARY
Ordering items in akregator results in a somewhat random order. It seams that
the function to order articles by date is broken. I joined a screen shot.
Reverse order gives the same issue. Maybe this is database (akonadi) related?
It is however a constant problem.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. order by date with new articles
2. new articles are not listed first in the row
3. A bunch of old articles are listed first, then the list is ordered
correctly.

OBSERVED RESULT
does not order by date. If you select a filter: show only new or unread then
the respective function orders the new articles in the list correctly

EXPECTED RESULT
Ordered by date should be ordered by date (linear).
