[Akonadi] [Bug 418026] New: Akonadi crashes on login

2020-02-22 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=418026

Bug ID: 418026
   Summary: Akonadi crashes on login
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 5.12.3
  Platform: Debian stable
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: server
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: pa...@web.de
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: akonadiserver (5.12.3)

Qt Version: 5.12.5
Frameworks Version: 5.62.0
Operating System: Linux 5.4.0-4-amd64 x86_64
Distribution: Debian GNU/Linux bullseye/sid

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

The behavior seems to be coming from updating the system. However, as the
instability already occured with an older update, it's probably not easy to
tell which version mostly worked.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

-- Backtrace:

This is fixed for how I think things should work

1) remember the last calendar used
2) if there is no last calendar (or the last calendar is invalid for some
reason) fallback to the default calendar

I create a fair number of events and remembering the last calendar used is a
time saver.

[korganizer] [Bug 369570] calendar selector for new events defaults to last selected calendar

2020-02-22 Thread Marc Mezzarobba
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369570

Fair enough I suppose. There is one major downside to remembering the default
calendar though: it makes it very easy to put private events in a public
calendar. It would be great if one could have an “active” calendar instead (a
natural choice would be the one currently selected in the calendar manager) and
new entries would go there by default instead.

Just to add a bit more info: The message preview pane works as expected. That
is, it loads external images for html messages. But if you double-click on a
message to open a separate window, the message window fails to load the
external images.
