[korganizer] [Bug 419836] Events with empty UID are present in akonadi console but not showing up in the calendar
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419836 --- Comment #4 from cs...@bxabi.com --- I also think it should still work even if it's not compliant, because multiple sources can create these, and they work in other calendars as nextcloud, thunderbird and the phone calendar. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[korganizer] [Bug 419836] Events with empty UID are present in akonadi console but not showing up in the calendar
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=419836 --- Comment #3 from Allen Winter --- 1. definitely a bad ics file and the creator should be told to fix (i.e. create UIDs) 2. Akonadi is doing the right thing 3. kcalendarcore has code to deal with missing UIDs. I need to figure out if that code is broken or if KOrganizer is to blame. I do think KOrganizer should be nice and handle missing UIDs, even if RFC non-compliant -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
[kmail2] [Bug 391826] KMail is confused about the order of messages
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391826 Johannes Studt changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED Ever confirmed|0 |1 CC||johan...@studt.de --- Comment #2 from Johannes Studt --- I've got the same behaviour up to now. KMail 5.13.3 (19.12.3) KDE Frameworks 5.68.0 Qt 5.14.1 (kompiliert gegen 5.14.1) The shit hits the fan when you want to move the mails back or to another sub folder. Selecting by subject line selects and moves the wrong email, and then the chaos is perfect. The only way to fix the order is: - moving the emails away using another mail client - then let KMail recognize the empty folder - in the next step move the emails back to the folder using the other mail client again - let KMail recognize the "new" emails This is _very_ nerve-stretching, as one has to double check all email sorting operations. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
