I have to configure Knotes, unselect the folder, click OK, re-open configure Knotes, select the folder, click OK, to see my notes appearing. Perhaps KWalletManager is a part of the problem? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. start new session 2. click Knotes icon: empty 3. configure Knotes, unselect the folder, click OK 4. configure Knotes, select the folder, click OK 5. click Knotes icon: Tadaa! notes appear OBSERVED RESULT EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.54.0 Qt Version: 5.11.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Debian Buster kernel 4.19.0-9-amd64 Knotes maildir folder: /home/fabrice/.local/share/notes/ , appear as "Ready" -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

The e-mail is an HTML e-mail from DHL (German parcel service) with a return label (pdf file), a data matrix code (PNG file) and an Apple wallet (pkpass) as attachment. The error output can be fond here: https://forum.manjaro.org/t/kmail-20-04-crashes-when-i-change-to-the-inbox/139528 I copied the email from folder to /home/me/.local/share/akonadi_maildir_resource_0/inbox/ to a USB stick and tried to open it on my Laptop which runs KUbuntu 18.04. On my laptop the e-mail file could be opened without problems. Now I update KUbuntu to Kubuntu 20.04 and the e-mail file doesn't open on my Laptop anymore. So I believe that in the newer kmail version is a bug. If necessary I can share the e-mail for analysis. All versions from Ubuntu (MATE) [x64] 18.04; 19.10, 20.04 tested by me are affected. After selecting two or more files, Kleopatra inevitably crashes. I can only sign one file at a time without Kleopatra crashing. I use Gpg4win 3.1.11 with Kleopatra, in addition to Linux, also under Windows. There are no problems with the signature of multiple files here. I use Kleopatra because it is not possible to sign multiple files in GnuPG. I am now using Ubuntu 20.04. The problem also exists here. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Copy three files into the download folder to be signed. 2. Open Kleopatra. 3. Click the button: "Sign / encrypt" 4. Open the "Downloads" folder. 5. Select all three Files (CTRL + A) 6. Press the button: "Open" 7. Kleopatra now crashes. EXPECTED RESULT Kleopatra should create several * sig files. Instead, it crashes. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Ubuntu MATE 20.04 (Tested with a new and fresh installation!) ==> Kleopatra makes handling GPG a lot easier.
