[kmail2] [Bug 339165] Searching for messages with status action item do not give right result
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=339165 Thiago Sueto changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|0 |1 CC||herzensch...@gmail.com Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED --- Comment #1 from Thiago Sueto --- I can reproduce this issue on current KMail from master. I had 5 emails marked as Action Items, I filtered them then I removed the status of Action items from three of them. Search finds 5 emails marked as Action Items despite there being only 2. This occurs even if I search 10 minutes after the fact, after closing KMail, or after closing KMail, issuing akonadictl stop and reopening KMail. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[kmail2] [Bug 364658] Offline not coming online
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364658 Thiago Sueto changed: What|Removed |Added CC||herzensch...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Thiago Sueto --- So the idea here is that instead of showing a message to go online, KMail should attempt to get online automatically? If so, this makes sense to me. As far as I know there's no way to set specific accounts online or offline; it's either all or none of them. Seeing that this is the case and the user is working online, I think it's expected that accounts always stay online and attempt to reconnect when they go offline. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[kmail2] [Bug 430397] New: Ability to add block list/filter
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430397 Bug ID: 430397 Summary: Ability to add block list/filter Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: herzensch...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Outlook (desktop, not web), for all its faults, has a really powerful feature: the ability to import a list of addresses to be automatically blocked. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/filter-junk-email-and-spam-in-outlook-on-the-web-db786e79-54e2-40cc-904f-d89d57b7f41d For us professional translators this is an extremely useful feature because we can then make use of the translator scammers email list (http://www.translator-scammers.com/translator-scammers-info.htm#emails), save it to .txt and import to Outlook to automatically block any scamming emails. The imported file could be a newline- or space-separated list of email addresses, and the action taken could be sending the email to trash, spam, or a new folder. That list for example contains over 18,000 addresses; it's entirely impractical to add such number of addresses one by one. I wouldn't mind if it's just a new filter capability or a plugin that makes use of spamassassin; this feature would be awesome and unique on linux, as far as I know only Outlook can do this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429911 Thiago Sueto changed: What|Removed |Added Ever confirmed|0 |1 Status|REPORTED|CONFIRMED --- Comment #4 from Thiago Sueto --- Okay, now this issue definitely occurred to me. I'm still unaware of the cause or proper means to reproduce, but it seems that either akonadictl fsck fixed this or it fixed itself once I checked email from a different folder. I didn't see the message "unable to connect to..." though, most likely because the issue got fixed before issuing this message. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

The password-tray opened, I entered the code and started manually kmail. I've been informed on new mails and when I wanted to read them kmail does not really show / open them and after some time akonadi crashes. I've witnessed this issue for some time (years) and hoped that it will be gone when changing to a new hardware and fresh install. But unfortunately the issues with akonadi stay. with my older system I had the problem when deleting emails that those won't be removed and hold with the akonadi information; or the emails were given with up to 5x entries. After migration I was able to start deleting older, un-neccessary emails but I#m still not yet done as I give my system a lot of time to "relax" in between. With the older system (based on a 14.x OpenSuSE) and the current (OpenLeap 15.2) I tried more than several dozen times the akonadictl fsck && akonadictl vacuum && akonadictl restart to freshen up but this didn't lead to success :-( The crash can be reproduced sometimes. -- Backtrace (Reduced): #9 0x7fd0430608ab in qTerminate () at global/qglobal.cpp:3203 #10 0x7fd043084b4b in QThreadPrivate::start (arg=0x55cc6b741ec0) at thread/qthread_unix.cpp:373 [...] The reporter indicates this bug may be a duplicate of or related to bug 424537.
