[Akonadi] [Bug 472335] New: Slow startup to desktop at login
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=472335 Bug ID: 472335 Summary: Slow startup to desktop at login Classification: Frameworks and Libraries Product: Akonadi Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: tho...@mitterfellner.at CC: c...@carlschwan.eu Target Milestone: --- It seems that there has been a regression with desktop startup after login at some point. This has been really fast, almost immediate, maybe 2-4 s after entering my credentials but now it takes ~15 s for the desktop to show. The version I'm using is 5.27.4 on openSUSE Leap 15.5. This duration is not shorter when I just log out and log in again. Caveat: I am not sure this is due to akonadi but in my journalctl -b output I get many akonadi messages over the course of 10 s (I pressed Enter on the login screen at 19:40:01): Jul 17 19:40:05 x akonadi_control[4223]: Connecting to deprecated signal QDBusConnectionInterface::serviceOwnerChanged(QString,QString,QString) Jul 17 19:40:05 x akonadiserver[4238]: org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Starting up the Akonadi Server...
