I am still using the qt5 branch via Tumbleweed KDE:unstable repos. Qt6 builds
are not available there currently.
If newest git builds from qt5 branch should do the job, they do not here. ToDo
view still empty.

* Do you actually have any non-readonly calendars added in KOrganizer?
* When you run KOrganizer from terminal, do you see any warnings/error printed
in the terminal when you try to create a new event?

I know about the dialog, I even saw it myself a few times but I can't reproduce
it now and it's hard to find it in the huge codebase without knowing the exact
string...

If you see it again, please paste here the exact text in the dialog (even if
it's localized).

knotes is broken under wayland. This issue and
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=437874 are different effects of that fact.

Unfortunately this bug still exists and there are no official reactions to it.

But I can provide a workaround: Force knotes to run with xwayland by setting
the environment to "WAYLAND_DISPLAY= QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=xcb". After this the
notes can be dragged again.
