[korganizer] [Bug 485621] No alarams and no updates from Google - update is stuck

2024-05-09 Thread bugzilla_noreply

--- Comment #2 from bn...@yahoo.com ---
Do reminders from other calendar types work? - Yes. Thunderbird works
flawlessly.

Can you please check whether there's a process called "kalendarac" running on
your system? - Yes, it's running.

It's Nextcloud, and it works with Evolution and GNOME Online Accounts, as well
as with DAVx5 on Android.

Notably, it wasn't an issue when connecting to OpenDesktop.org Cloud (an older
version of Nextcloud), so I think it might be related to a change in Nextcloud.

The error message is not very good, but it indicates that the DAV server has
returned an invalid response.

Is this some standard DAV server (like Nextcloud), or some custom/proprietary
one? Are you able to test with some other calendar client?

Screenshot of error messages

SUMMARY
Sometimes my complete desktop gets filled with error messages, because a not
existing calendar item can not be deleted.
Even though the logs suggest that this is a problem with the calendar
synchronization I opened this bug for kmail because the error messages belong
to kmail.

OBSERVED RESULT
Sometimes my complete desktop gets filled with error messages, because a not
existing calendar item can not be deleted.
These windows open almost simultaneously.

I have collected the following output from the log files and attached a
screenshot of the error messages.

```
This is because malformed data is sent, this is the reply from the server (you
should set QT_LOGGING_RULES="*org.kde.pim.ews.client.proto*.debug=true" to have
it dumped somewhere):
http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/;>http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/services/2006/types;>a:ErrorInvalidOperationId is malformed.http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/services/2006/errors;>ErrorInvalidOperationhttp://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/services/2006/errors;>Id is
malformed.
I haven't found a way to debug *why* it's invalid.
