https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381919 --- Comment #10 from Achim Bohnet --- Next go: The DFN CA and MPG CA in the chain of my personal zertificate as the Issuers: a) DN: CN=DFN-Verein PCA Global - G01,OU=DFN-PKI,O=DFN-Verein,C=DE b) DN: CN=MPG CA,O=Max-Planck-Gesellschaft,C=DE There are 2 certificates in my pubring matching the string (a) and (b) (well, (a) matches 3 but one is revoked) both of them are valid until Jul 2019. The two variants differ in that the older one uses SHA1 (valid since ~ 2006/7) as the hash algorithm and the other uses SHA256 (valid since 2014). I've deleted the SHA1 variant of DFN CA - G01 and(!) MPG CA - G01 and now the kmail accepts E-Mail signed by me as valid. I can even sent e-mails signed by me, without disabling CRL checks in kmail settings. Yeah! So my cert has an IssuerString MPG CA ... matching an SHA1 cert and SHA256 cert. DITTO for the MPG CA ... cert itself that has the DFN issuer value mathing also 2 valid cert (one SHA1 one SHA256). That's something one can not achie ve with an image of a fixed (smaller)size. * From the point of view of a article reader, the internal webview missbehaves * From the point of view of an article creator the article looks perfectly well in the browser and on kde.planet. AFAIU it now, the problem is that the 'subpage' specified by the Blog feed does not contain the HTML code to restrict the blog to the page width as in the full webpage version. As a workaround IMHO it may make perfect sense for akregator and is therefore desireable to wrap the article in whatever HTML code to restrict image width to page width as it's used by planet.kde.org and the original web page, This makes the pictures behave 'as expected' by users and authors. This is based on my risk estimations that 'broken' authoring tools are much more common than people that really want to embbed really huge images. And the HTML generated by the blogging software still prevents that. Educating every blog author to work around fragile authoring tools, which seems to be the real culprit, is not manageable. Fixing the authoring tools/software Maybe as an option per feed? Without GUI to test it? Cheers, Achim -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Expected result: akregator in 1) scales the images to page width as done for 2) and 3) FWIW: * :-) the images the posting 'Plasma 5.13 beta' in KDE Dots news are perferctly scaled in akregator. * :-( Looks like all the popular 'Usability & ...' postings from Nate have broken image scaling in akregator * :-( Group Pic in 'The Akademy 2018 program is now available' from Paul Brown is also not scaled, so it's not only Nate Posting ;-) So looks like some html scaling methods work in akregator's buildin browser. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391286 Bug ID: 391286 Summary: inbox synced again and again when with kmail bogofilter filter rules enabled on laptop & desktop Product: Akonadi Version: 5.7.2 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Mail Filter Agent Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: a...@mpe.mpg.de Target Milestone: --- With Neon User on my laptop and desktop: kmail accesses via imap and dovecot server the same account. Both kmail instances have only the 4 bogofilter rules generated by the antispam wizard. When both kmail instances are running and I receive a new e-mail, the same e-mail is listed multiple times in the msg listview and akonadi scans the inbox again and again. Each scan ~ 4 sec and CPU fan kicks in because akonadi consumes lot of CPU. The scan loop stops after more than one or two duzend scans (guess). The mesg list view shows 2 times the same unread msg. This happens on both the laptop and desktop in parallel. After each scan the msg switches most of the time between listed twice and four time. Sometimes it's listed 3 times. When it eventually after 1 -2 minutes ends I see the new msg listed twice. At the same time the unread mail count changes again and again in kmail/inbox, thunderbold, K9-Mailon Android and Apple Mail and I can enjoy lots of notification sounds ;-) When I disable the all rules (=4 bogofilter rules) on the laptop. I don't see the duplicates but nevertheless my laptop does one complete sync the inbox as shown in the msgbox in the lower right of kmail which takes ~ 4 sec. I've seen this in the past already (> year) but most of the time I used bogofilter filter rules only on the desktop host. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388914 --- Comment #2 from Achim Bohnet --- Hi Allen, I can confirm that when you change some RGB values it works. But when you use the procedure I described it's not saved. (I just wanted to save my current set of color that I use) I assume it's due to the fact that the color is not changed. [kleopatra] [Bug 381919] Kleopatra fails to validate S/MIME signed msgs with MPG CA in the cert chain
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381919 --- Comment #9 from Achim Bohnet --- DIRTY unsecure WORKAROUND: Kmail allows in settings -> configure kmail-> security -> tab s/mime validation: enable never consult an CRL Now signature validation works and I could even send for the first time signed and/or encrypted E-mails with kmail. [kleopatra] [Bug 381910] New user: Starting kleopatra shows 'loading certificate cache ...' forever
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381910 --- Comment #12 from Achim Bohnet --- I can't reproduce anymore on KDE Neon User (based on ubuntu 16.04): gpg -K and gpgsm -K do not hang. Their version (2.1.11-6ubuntu2) is still the as at the time I reported the bug, but kleopatra was updated from 2.3 to now 3.0.1. It also works on Kubuntu 17.10 (artful artvaard): It has gpg(sm) 2.1.15. gpg -K and gpgsm -K do not hang. kleopatra is 2.3 (KDE apps 17.04) So maybe your fix made kleopatra work with old buggy gpg 2.1.11 and newer gpg 2.1.15 works even with old kleopatra 2.3. I've tried the 'standard?' shortcuts Ctrl-M and Ctrl-Shift-M. Still no menu. I could not find a way in the UI to get the menu back. Hack: * quit kleopatra * vi ~/.config/kleopatrarc and remove [MainWindow] MenuBar=disabled (AFAIR) * start kleopatra -> Menubar was shown again. Now I searched in the Menues how to disable the menubar to find the short-cut key to get it back. Nothing :-( I still have no idea how the menubar was disabled. Proposed possible solutions: 1) ignore the bug, because I can not reproduce the 'menubar somehow suddenly magically hidden) and trust people to find with google this bug report to get their menu back 2) With disabled menubar, add somewhere a popupmenu that shows the items of the menubar as a menu (like e.g. dolphin, firefox and chrome*) 3) Add a Settings -> Show Menubar (Ctrl-(shift)-M) as in e.g. konsole, kmail and kmail-composer (for implementation example see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38256262) FWIW: My favorite would be 3) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

[korganizer] [Bug 384075] korganizer crashes on startup
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=384075 --- Comment #2 from Achim Bohnet --- I've found out, that korganizer crashes, when I select the calendar 'work' (aka arbeiten in german) so that the events are displayed . ('work' is one of 3 calendars and 2 addressbooks in a owncloud dav resource.) There no output on the konsole between selecting the calendar 'work' and the crash. For debugging I copied an encrypted email to my test user. When I click on 'decrypt' I get the error msg, that claims to show the keys, but shows nothing (see screenshot): No secret key found to encrypt the message. It is encypted for the following keys: Expected results: I expected an error, as t Typo: * it should be decrypt not encrypt in the first sentence of the error msg. Imcomplete: * list of secret keys is displayed too (prefered ;-) ) or * remove the second sentence, that claims that keys are displayed Achim -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
