akonadiserver start, works fine.

Didn't core dump generated when I was trying to reboot from Kmenu/terminal
mode.

Seems solved.

Thanks

[kmail2] [Bug 334133] New: KMail filter does not find emails

2014-04-30 Thread Alvaro Soliverez
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334133

Bug ID: 334133
Summary: KMail filter does not find emails
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.13.0
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: search
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: asolive...@kde.org
CC: m...@vhanda.in

The filter feature on a folder and the Find messages action do not find certain
emails.

I haven't been able to figure out what's special about these emails, but it
already happened to me with 3 emails. The emails are in English, no special
Unicode chars.

The emails are on the folder, but searching for body, from, or subject won't
bring them on the results. Of course I search full message and that didn't work
either.

I'm on Opensuse 13.1, KDE 4.13, using Baloo.

Reproducible: Always

[kmail2] [Bug 321261] Cannot add S/MIME certificate - displays a red cross

Never consult a CRL helped.
Still, I had to import the certificate again manually with gpgsm, otherwise it
wouldn't show me an important error in the dependency chain.

I was able to make it work about a month ago or so. It was really frustrating
that Kleopatra hides all underneath errors, and the only way to figure what the
problem was, was by running the commands in CLI mysef (after googling what the
commands were)

Please, make it easier to see the underlying issue, don't just show a red
cross.

I'm closing it now since the main issue was a problem in the certificate.

The point stands, make it easier for the user to figure out what's wrong.

[kmail2] [Bug 321261] New: Cannot add S/MIME certificate - displays a red cross

2013-06-17 Thread Alvaro Soliverez
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321261

Bug ID: 321261
Summary: Cannot add S/MIME certificate - displays a red cross
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.10.3
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: crypto
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: asolive...@kde.org

When I try to add my S/MIME signature certificate, it shows at first on the
list with a ? mark, and when I try to select it, it displays a red mark, and
cannot be selected to add it.

There's no error message. Starting Kleopatra, it is empty, even after importing
the certificate again. That's weird, because in KMail, the certificate is
listed, even if Kleopatra's list is empty now.
KGpg, however, displays my GPG keys correctly.

Where can I start to figure out what's wrong? I really need this for my work.

In Kleopatra, the certificates show up after a long time. If I start
KWatchGnuPG, there's a lot of meaningless messages, but one that said: Issuer
certificate (...) not found using authorityKeyIdentifier
Command LOOKUP: failed

[Bug 279322] KMyMoney plugin Calendar Export crashes Plasma Desktop on Program Open.

I had a similar crash in Kontact after setting up a resource to import iCal
files from Google calendar. It's probably related, as the KMyMoney plugin tries
to import an iCal file too.

[Bug 204351] New: vCard imported after opening it despite answering "no" to import question

Summary: vCard imported after opening it despite answering "no"

Status: NEW

Version:(using KDE 4.3.0)
Compiler: x86_64 architecture
OS:Linux
Installed from:Ubuntu Packages

Opening a vCard file in Dolphin starts KAddressBook which shows a dialog with
the vCard information and asks the user if he wants to import that contact into
the address book. Regardless of the answer (even "No" or "Cancel") the contact
is added to the address book. Clearly, the contact should be added only when
the user clicks on "Yes".

(By the way, what's the difference between "No" and "Cancel" in this context? I
think "Cancel" it's redundant...)

I can confirm that this also happens when an event spans several days and that
the problem belongs to Akonadi. The same event is (correctly) displayed as
lasting 3 days when using a traditional iCal resource but it is shown as
(incorrectly) spanning four days when accessed though an Akonadi resource.
