I realise that there may be manpower issues, but is there any update at all on this. Are we any closer, even by 1 line of code, than we were on the 2nd August 2004 when this issue got raised? I hear you with the manpower issue, but still, a giant amount of work has been done porting to QT4, it must have had quite a few devs come out of the woodwork to work on it lately. Been using kmail since 2004 and the lack of this feature stops me working effectively with all the Outlook users in my company. Bit of a joke since it's obviously in demand. I don't buy the security excuse BS, other clients pull off this feature no problem with default hiding of images/remote assets.
