Bug ID: 401923
Summary: KMail crashes randomly in connection with the display
of Emails (probably a problem with Nouveau)
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Chakra
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: i...@cyrilbrosch.net
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: kmail (5.9.3)

Qt Version: 5.11.2
Frameworks Version: 5.52.0
Operating System: Linux 4.18.12-1-CHAKRA x86_64
Distribution: "Chakra"

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

Very often during use, when I click a new mail in order to do any action (view,
delete, copy, etc.), but sometimes also during startup or closing the program,
KMail crashes. It's hard to work longer than 5 mins with it without a crash.
I finally got a usable backtrace after the update to Plasma 5.14.4, frameworks
5.52.0, Qt 5.11.2, but this happened also in the versions before that, but not
before the latter versions, so the bug was introduced somewhen this
spring/summer, I guess.
I can't read backtraces, but I see Qt and Nouveau driver pop up there many
times.

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

For me a restart doesn't do it, because it was switched offline even after
that, I had to toggle it online in the Akonadi console.

[Bug 227184] New: obsolete translation in the German version of kmail

2010-02-16 Thread Cyril Brosch
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=227184

Summary: obsolete translation in the German version of kmail
   Product: kmail
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Mandriva RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: bro...@zedat.fu-berlin.de

Version:(using KDE 4.4.0)
OS:Linux
Installed from:Mandriva RPMs

When you click on the inbox after startup kmail for a short time shows a blue
info screen, until the mails are loaded.

In the German version this screen says Emailprogramm für die
K-Arbeitsumgebung, so email programme for the K Desktop Environment.

After the rebranding of KDE it should be something like Emailprogramm für die
KDE-Programmsammlung (or so).
