[kmail2] [Bug 350048] kMail crashes when replaying TO ALL / restarting application after such crash

2015-07-09 Thread Darek
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350048

I mean: it does not crash in case of raplaying to all to a mail that caused the
original crash.

[kmail2] [Bug 350048] kMail crashes when replaying TO ALL / restarting application after such crash

2015-07-09 Thread Darek
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350048

It looks like a workaround to this bug is turning off the option: replay/
forward using HTML in kMail's configuration. After turning the option off,
kMail does not crash in this case described above

[kmail2] [Bug 350048] New: kMail crashes when replaying TO ALL / restarting application after such crash

2015-07-09 Thread Darek
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=350048

Bug ID: 350048
Summary: kMail crashes when replaying TO ALL / restarting
application after such crash
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: gdare...@gmail.com

Application: kmail (4.14.6)
KDE Platform Version: 4.14.6
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Operating System: Linux 3.19.0-22-generic x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 15.04

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I was replaying with option TO ALL (circa to 7 e-mail address).
-- The mail was long, with HTML formatting and pictures (logos)
-- the mail was already a replay to another mail and so on (a longer
conversation).
Application crashes. When starting it again, it also crashes -- each time I
tray to start it until deleting the autosave-file in:
.../.kde/share/apps/kmail2/autosave/
After deleting the autosave-file, kMail starts without crash, but the bug is
reproducible.
I can reproduce the bug with this particular mail, but also with other mails
similar to this (specially from the same client).

[Bug 212985] New: Kmail crashed when I tried to close it

2009-11-03 Thread Darek
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=212985

Summary: Kmail crashed when I tried to close it
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Unlisted Binaries
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: gdare...@gmail.com

Application that crashed: kontact
Version of the application: 4.3.2
KDE Version: 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2)
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.28-16-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.04

What I was doing when the application crashed:
I tried to close KMail after being not able to open new massages on an imap
folder (gmail). I was notified about these messages by KMail, they were
downloaded (about 15 MB) -- at least KMail showed 100% of progress -- but
didn't showed them, attempting to download each of them again (such situation
also happened before). So I tried to close KMail, but it crashed instead.

[Bug 209629] New: Kmail crashed when using a filter

2009-10-06 Thread Darek
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=209629

Summary: Kmail crashed when using a filter
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Unlisted Binaries
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: gdare...@gmail.com

Application that crashed: kontact
Version of the application: 4.3.1
KDE Version: 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1)
Qt Version: 4.5.2
Operating System: Linux 2.6.28-15-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.04

What I was doing when the application crashed:
I chose a massage on an imap-server to be filtered as a spam. Instead of moving
it to a spam folder on the server (filtering rule is defined in such a way)
Kmail waited for a while and then crashed.

[Bug 201950] Kmail crased when trying to open an attachment in GwenView

2009-07-29 Thread Darek
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=201950

--- Comment #1 from Darek 2009-07-30 02:10:14 ---
That happened not after invoking that from context menu, as I wrote above, but
just after clicking on attachment: when a new window appeared asking if to save
an attachment or to open it in Gwenview, I chose Gwenview, then Kontact
crashed. Sorry, but I didn't remembered what exactly I had done before trying
to do it again (I have succeeded this time).

[Bug 193189] New: Problem with default identity when creating new massage via KMail's system tray notifier

2009-05-18 Thread Darek
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=193189

Summary: Problem with default identity when creating new
massage via KMail's system tray notifier
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: mail
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: gdare...@gmail.com

Version:(using KDE 4.2.3)
Compiler: cc
OS:Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-12-generic
Installed from:Ubuntu Packages

When creating new massage via menu of (choosing "New massage" there), the
massage editor doesn't start with a general default identity, but with an
identity set as default for the folder which was opened for the last time in
KMail.

For example,
-- having two IMAP accounts with two identities for them (the one for the first
IMAP as general default identity, the other as default for the second IMAP
account) and a bunch of folders filtering mail from different POP3 accounts
(with different identities associated with them)
-- and choosing any mail folder X not associated with the general default
identity (i.e. not the first IMAP),
-- than closing even all Kontact's windows,
still creating a new massage via KMail's system tray notifier/icon ("New
massage"), the massage composer won't start with the general default identity
(as in KDE 3.5 as far as I remember), but with the identity associated with
folder X.

That's evidently a bug, since if there is any sense in setting a general
default identity, that's it: to be able to start quickly writing a massage with
that general identity -- via system tray icon functionality -- which is very
handy when having many identities (otherwise one must choose an identity from
the list in the composer or navigate to an appropriate folder and start
composing a massage from there).

[Bug 193182] New: KMail's notifier in system tray ("New massages in") doesn't open mail component of Kontact

2009-05-18 Thread Darek
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=193182

Summary: KMail's notifier in system tray ("New massages in")
doesn't open mail component of Kontact
   Product: kontact
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: mail
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: gdare...@gmail.com

Version:(using KDE 4.2.3)
Compiler: cc
OS:Linux (i686) release 2.6.28-12-generic
Installed from:Ubuntu Packages

When Kontact is set to "always start" with specific component (Kontact's
configuration --> Kontact), choosing "New massages in" from menu of KMail's
system tray notifier (icon) opens also this component, not the KMail's folder
in which these new messages are (that is: not the mail component of Kontact).

In my case choosing "New massages in" from KMail's system tray notifier menu
opens Summary component, but one can easily reproduce that with Calendar or any
other Kontact's component (setting it as a "always start with" component). The
thing is that no matter what component is the starting component for Kontact
(and whether anyone is set as such), KMail's system tray notifier (icon) should
always open only it's own component (i.e. the mail one, and showing the right
folder according to my choice from the list of folders with new massages).

That's a bug (in KDE 3.5 KMail's notifier was working well in this respect).
