[Bug 301308] New: Akregator doesn't allow articles to be read when listed as unread (and "consumes" an extra article)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=301308 Bug ID: 301308 Severity: normal Version: 4.8.3 Priority: NOR Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Summary: Akregator doesn't allow articles to be read when listed as unread (and "consumes" an extra article) Classification: Unclassified OS: FreeBSD Reporter: blackdra...@highveldmail.co.za Hardware: FreeBSD Ports Status: UNCONFIRMED Component: general Product: akregator When filtering the display by status: Unread and clicking on one of the unread articles akregator then flashes that article, and the one above, then goes blank (in the article viewer) and those two articles disappear from the list of unread articles without me actually having a change to read them. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set status filter to "Unread" 2. Click on an unread article Actual Results: The article flashes in the article view pane, disappears and the following article also disappears. Both articles are removed for the list of unread articles. Expected Results: The article remains visible in the article view screen and only disappears from the list of unread articles once I have moved onto the next article. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[Bug 266570] KMail2 migration failed, prevents KMail2 from running
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=266570 --- Comment #5 from David Naylor 2011-06-23 22:11:55 --- Migration now works, although I had to Ctrl-F5 to get all my emails to show. I didn't test filter migration. On an aside, I tried to setup a fresh KMail and it's automatic detection of my GMail account worked, except it tried to use IMAP while I prefer POP3 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[Bug 266570] KMail2 migration failed, prevents KMail2 from running
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=266570 --- Comment #2 from David Naylor 2011-02-18 15:38:40 --- Normal usage of KMail2 has resulting in two bugs: 1) Filters from KMail were not imported correctly. The destination folder was not imported or imported incorrectly (non existant folder). 2) I am unable to save a draft: "Unknown error (unknown collection)" -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[Bug 266570] KMail2 migration failed, prevents KMail2 from running
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=266570 David Naylor changed: What|Removed |Added CC||blackdra...@highveldmail.co ||.za --- Comment #1 from David Naylor 2011-02-18 08:55:34 --- Upon further fiddling I have discovered that the migration does work properly (although the above problems still apply). In order to get the emails loaded I need to "Check Mail" for "KMail Folders". It appears that KMail does not track any changes made to the maildir directory if those changes are made outside of KMail. It would be very convenient if kmail-migrator could "Check Mail" for local "KMail Folders". And, although it does not impact me as KMail is my only mail client, it would be nice if KMail could detect changes to the maildir. Also, somewhere through my fiddling kmail-migrator stopped popping up and stalling kmail load (I think it was when I "Check Mail" for "KMail Folders". After resolving the above problem KMail has been working well for me. Thank You. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[Bug 266570] New: KMail2 migration failed, prevents KMail2 from running
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=266570 Summary: KMail2 migration failed, prevents KMail2 from running Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: FreeBSD Ports OS/Version: FreeBSD Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: blackdra...@highveldmail.co.za Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS:FreeBSD When running KMail for the first time the kmail-migration runs and reports success however after closing the dialog KMail does not appear. `ps -A` shows kmail-migration still running. If `killall -9 kmail-migrator` then KMail appears however all the emails are missing (existing directory structure present). NOTE: emails are still present on disk and no changes have been done to the the mailbox dirs. Running kmail after first run produces an error in kmail-migrator of "No backend for '' available." otherwise the same as above happens.
