Therefore, if the MDN policy is set to ask, a user may expect a dialog asking if one should be sent. If you click on the close button, the application closes, thats the nature of the close button. The only way to prevent that is, to make the filter dialog a modal popup. And this seems to be the point: The search feature not only looks for the name, but also for the path, and for local folders, this path starts with local folders which happens to contain the substring old.
