[kmail2] [Bug 352452] User avatar on message list

2015-10-08 Thread Emil Sedgh
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=352452

I meant list of mail.
And that tool you can use to create new themes for it with drag&dropping
widgets/columns.

[kmail2] [Bug 352452] New: User avatar on message list

2015-09-08 Thread Emil Sedgh
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=352452

Bug ID: 352452
Summary: User avatar on message list
   Product: kmail2
   Version: Git (master)
  Platform: Compiled Sources
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: message list
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: emilse...@kde.org

it would be great if Message list themes get the ability to show user avatar.
Could make KMail much more visually appealing and helpful, considering the new
gravatar support.

Reproducible: Always

[Akonadi] [Bug 337497] New: Fails to retrieve folders if there are sub-folders with same name

2014-07-16 Thread Emil Sedgh
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=337497

Bug ID: 337497
Summary: Fails to retrieve folders if there are sub-folders
with same name
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: GIT (master)
  Hardware: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Gmail resource
  Assignee: dvra...@redhat.com
  Reporter: emilse...@kde.org
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org

Gmail resource fails to retrieve folders and their contents with this message:

akonadi_gmail_resource_0(26107)
ImapResourceBase::onMetadataCollectionFetchDone: Failed to retrieve collection
before RetrieveCollectionMetadataTask "Hierarchical RID does not specify a
unique collection"

This, apparently, happens when there are subfolders with the same name.

[Akonadi] [Bug 336758] New: GMail resource never starts

2014-06-26 Thread Emil Sedgh
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336758

Bug ID: 336758
   Summary: GMail resource never starts
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: GIT (master)
  Platform: Compiled Sources
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: IMAP resource
  Assignee: chrig...@fastmail.fm
  Reporter: emilse...@kde.org
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org, vkra...@kde.org

Added Gmail resource. It authenticates just fine.
However, it always stays in 'Ready' state (seen on Akonadi Configuration
dialog) and never starts working.

Also, nothing appears on folder list.

Checking mail manually does not trigger anything.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add a gmail resource to kmail
Actual Results:
Resource adds, authenticates fine, but nevers fetches folders/emails.

Expected Results:
It should start fetching folders and emails

Following error appears in xsession-errors file:

akonadi_gmail_resource_3(2140)/kdepimlibs (kimap)
KIMAP::LoginJobPrivate::startAuthentication: sasl_client_start failed with: -1

[Bug 297427] Non-MIME-GnuPG encrypted messages often crash KMail

2012-04-25 Thread Emil Sedgh
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=297427

Hi Laurent.
Should I describe a KMail feature to KMail's maintainer? :p
Well, I've setup gpg keys using KGPG/Kleopatra.
Then someone sent me an encrypted message. I think you can even setup a gpg key
and then send an encrypted email to yourself.

The message pane is supposed to show the selected message. However, its stuck
on loading message. I double-clicked on the same message and new window opened
immediately.

Version: Git (master) (using Devel)
OS:Linux

Using slow connections, when I click on an email message, it gives me a
'Loading' message and it gets stuck there.

When i double-click on the email, a new window opens up that contains the email
message, which means the email has been dowloaded fine.

This doesnt happen all the time, but happens many times using an slow
connection.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Open up a folder

Click on an email message

Actual Results:
A loading message comes up.

Sometime, it works fine and after a while email message shows up.

However, sometimes, the loading message stays there forever, even if KMail has
got the message.

I know that kmail has got the message, since if I double-click on the same
message, a new window shows up the whole message immediately.

Expected Results:
KMail shows the email message whe its being downloaded.

An screenshot has been attached.

[Bug 284606] Email folders get corrupt on slow connections

--- Comment #4 from Emil Sedgh 2011-12-18 08:17:54 ---
I updated kdepim.

The bug is still there. However, instead of trying to load it forever, after a
minute kmail throws this error:

"Unknown error. (Unable to fetch item from backend)"

[Bug 284606] New: Email folders get corrupt on slow connections

2011-10-21 Thread Emil Sedgh
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=284606

Summary: Email folders get corrupt on slow connections
   Product: kmail2
   Version: Git (master)
  Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: emilse...@kde.org

Version: Git (master) (using Devel)
OS:Linux

Im using kmail with a slow connection.
Some times, when i want to view emails on a folder, it starts fetching data,
but, it gets stuck there. (due to slow connection)

>From then, that folder becomes corrupt. kmail forgets about all previous emails
on that folder and the folder icon stays as 'loading' forever.

Restarting kmail/akonadi doesnt help. Last time it happened I had to remove my
imap account and add a new one.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
Use kmail for a month using a slow connection.

Actual Results:
kmail forgets about previous emails on a folder.

Expected Results:
It shouldnt forget any email.

I think I can describe what happens on the attached screenshot easier.

The 'Maintainance' and 'inbox' folders on my folders list has become corrupt.
This means:

1) They have the 'loading' icon forever. The moment i open kmail, they have
that loading icon.

2) They forgot all emails 'prior' their coruption. This means, my inbox was
working fine. But at some point, the issue came up. From that point, it only
shows emails from then.

(You can see that my inbox is supposed to have 3280 emails, but its only
showing one)

Im available on #kde-devel for any more info.
