I did the package upgrade again and it is working okay now.
I will close this bug and re-open if I can reproduce again.
Thanks for the help!

Downgrading those three packages resolves the issue:

[kmail2] [Bug 342765] New: Message list shows read messages as unread

2015-01-12 Thread Flavio Leitner
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=342765

Bug ID: 342765
Summary: Message list shows read messages as unread
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.14.2
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: grave
  Priority: NOR
 Component: message list
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: f...@sysclose.org

I was using 4.14.2 and it was fine. After a distro upgrade, I got the 4.14.3
version which even after opening the message in an external window, the message
list shows as Unread.

If I select the message and mark as Read it doesn't change anything.

It looks like the folder is in Read-Only mode, but if you quit and start kmail
again, the messages show the correct status.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just try to read a message in a local folder

Actual Results:
message status remains as Unread

Expected Results:
message status moves to Read

I think this is high priority because it's impossible to manage a high volume
of emails if all them remains with Unread status.

[kmail2] [Bug 342590] New: Scrolling down a message is too slow

2015-01-07 Thread Flavio Leitner
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=342590

Bug ID: 342590
Summary: Scrolling down a message is too slow
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.14.2
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: f...@sysclose.org

It is too slow to use the keyboard arrows to scroll up or down a message.
The spacebar goes quickly to the next page.
The mouse scrolls up or down nicely too.
I can't find any configuration for the keyboard arrows.
Scrolling on Konqueror goes nicely too, same for Kwrite.

It would be nice to set either the speed or how many pixels to move.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a email with few pages
2. scroll up or down using keyboard arrows
3. notice how slow it is when comparing with other kde programs.

Expected Results:
Either be configurable or a bit faster.

This is a T520 laptop running Fedora 21 up-to-date.

[kmail2] [Bug 342521] New: RFE: show flags column

2015-01-05 Thread Flavio Leitner
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=342521

Bug ID: 342521
   Summary: RFE: show flags column
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.14.2
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: folders
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: f...@sysclose.org

I have some messages marked as 'Important' and others as 'Actions'. But I
can't see which folder contains such messages unless I search for those in
every folder.

Therefore I think it would be nice to report in the folder list the number of
flagged messages in their column type.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Flag a message as Important.
2. Try to see on the list of folder which one contains an important message.

Actual Results:
The user needs to search on each folder for special/flagged messages.

Expected Results:
A column in the folder list containing the number of messages when not zero.

It could also change the colour of the folder to highlight when some message is
flagged.
