[kmail2] [Bug 344242] Mails that are copied do not appear on my harddrive

[kmail2] [Bug 344242] Mails that are copied do not appear on my harddrive
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344242 --- Comment #5 from Guido Pinkernell --- I would call it severe since it does lead to loss of e-mail. It happened here: For some reason kmail does not save mails that were copied from an IMAP account to subfolders of "Local Folders". To be more precise: These subfolders (together with the mail that they contain) have vanished from ~/.local/share/local-mail. They were there a few weeks ago, as backups show. I have not noticed the different behaviour, since, in kmail, subfolders and mail were visible alright. Obviously, these were read from the akonadi databases but not from ~/.local/share/local-mail. When the akonadi database becomes corrupt, the mails can't be recovered. Unfortunately, this does happen. This is on opensuse 42.1 with KDE 4.11.2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 206377] "Menu>Message>Forward" different from "Forward" in message's context menu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=206377 --- Comment #3 from Guido Pinkernell 2009-09-05 18:30:30 --- In fact I did. [Bug 22723] "send now" causes all email in outbox to be sent
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22723 Guido Pinkernell changed: What|Removed |Added CC||guido.pinkern...@gmx.de --- Comment #22 from Guido Pinkernell 2009-09-05 15:43:58 --- It is a bug in that there is an inconsistency about the menu entries and the shortcuts assigned to these entries. 1. In menu > File > Send Outbox, no shortcut assigned 2. In message editor > Message > Send now, we have the shortcut Ctrl+Enter However, Ctrl+Enter in message editor triggers Send Outbox (as in 1.) but not Send Message (as in 2., mark it does not say "Send Message_s_"). And, Ctrl+Enter, which apparently is about sending the outbox, does not work, when there is no active message editor open. I am not happy with the present behaviour, but if you do not want to change this, at least change the menu entries so that they correspond with what will happen if you use them. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
