Reopening this report was useless. Oh. So make it optional. Why do we need to use Nepomuk, which slows down computer without any pros? Nepomuk is for me big cons. I don't need anything semantic. I don't need tagging, searching or anything similiar on my computer, as I keep my PC tidy. If you force me to turn Nepomuk on, then I'm not going to use any of PIM-related apps from KDE SC. Why should I if you force me to do anything? That means: after closing kontact the first attempt to start crashes, the second one succeeds. I tried. First crashed but next three times it started. 2.) The crash seems to occur only, if akregator has been started inside kontact. Well, I haven't tried without Akregator. 3.) It appears to me that starting something like kmail --composer directly instead of kontact is not possible, only starting the kontact shell seems to fix the problem to allow success with the second try.
