When i look at the links (hoover the mouse over them) included in the mail i see that the base url is excluded and file:// is used instead. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Send this mail using telnet or whathever: html head base href=http://bugs.kde.org/ /head body a href=test.htmllink/a /body /html 2. Look at the mail in kmail. kmail is ignoring the base tag. and is adding file:// prefix insted.
