[kmail2] [Bug 388711] New: KMail crashes when selecting contact from krunner
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388711 Bug ID: 388711 Summary: KMail crashes when selecting contact from krunner Product: kmail2 Version: 5.7.0 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Keywords: drkonqi Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: koni_ren...@gmx.at Target Milestone: --- Application: kmail (5.7.0) Qt Version: 5.9.3 Frameworks Version: 5.41.0 Operating System: Linux 4.10.0-42-generic x86_64 Distribution: KDE neon User Edition 5.11 -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: Searched a contact via krunner and clicked on it. KMail tries to start, but crashes. But if Kmail is already started, it works. So the problem only occurs, if KMail is not running. It also crashes, if KMail was started during the same session but was not running during search. The expected behaviour would be, that KMail always opens a compose window with the searched contact pre selected. The crash can be reproduced every time. -- Backtrace: Application: KMail (kmail), signal: Segmentation fault Using host libthread_db library "/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libthread_db.so.1".
