[kmail2] [Bug 388711] New: KMail crashes when selecting contact from krunner

2018-01-09 Thread Konrad Renner
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388711

Bug ID: 388711
Summary: KMail crashes when selecting contact from krunner
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.7.0
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: koni_ren...@gmx.at
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: kmail (5.7.0)

Qt Version: 5.9.3
Frameworks Version: 5.41.0
Operating System: Linux 4.10.0-42-generic x86_64
Distribution: KDE neon User Edition 5.11

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Searched a contact via krunner and clicked on it. KMail tries to start, but
crashes. But if Kmail is already started, it works. So the problem only occurs,
if KMail is not running. It also crashes, if KMail was started during the same
session but was not running during search.

The expected behaviour would be, that KMail always opens a compose window with
the searched contact pre selected.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

which are not selected in the calendar component of kontact.

Expected Results:
The summary page should just show tasks, from calendars which are displayed in
the calendar or tasks component of kontact.

Finally, it works on my machine too. The Problem was, that nepomuk had not
indexed correct the Akonadi data. I had to make Nepomuk rescan everything, now
it works even when I restart my Computer without any script

OK, now I have managed that the nepomuk feeder runs correct. But the
distribution list does not work for me...

I will wait für Kubuntu 13.10, maybe the "full system update" solves the
problem.

Thanks guys for your help!

Just downloaded the file from here, run chmod und executed the file.

But sorry, this was not the complete error output:

./feeder-restart: 9: ./feeder-restart: function: not found
Aufruf: grep [OPTION]… MUSTER [DATEI]…
Try 'grep --help' for more information.
./feeder-restart: 11: ./feeder-restart: Syntax error: "}" unexpected

what will this command do? will it delete all nepomuk files and configs? what
impact has this command on my nepomuk configuration?

Yes I have done that. But is it really necessary to run the script each time
when I log to run the script?

When I run the script manually I get an exception:
./feeder-restart: 11: ./feeder-restart: Syntax error: "}" unexpected
