Hello Justin,

Sorry not to have reported for so long.
It seems that in the newer versions the bug is gone.
I confirm that when you empty the trash, or delete the last mail from a folder,
the mail is not displayed any more.

Kind Regards,
Kosmas.

[kmail2] [Bug 384277] New: Kmail does not display any email in a folder with big number of emails

2017-09-02 Thread Kosmas Mackrogamvrakis
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=384277

Bug ID: 384277
Summary: Kmail does not display any email in a folder with big
number of emails
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: message list
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: kos...@kosmas.gr
  Target Milestone: ---

In an imap folder that contains more than 4000 emails kmail does not display
anything in the list.
Selecting any other folder with less than 500 emails shows the list correctly
when clicking on any folder with a large ammount of emails, the list stays
blank.

Gentoo Lixux Stable
akonadi,contact, kmail, kmailtransport versions: 17.04.3
Frameworks: 5.34.0

Reproducable from 3 different systems.

[kmail2] [Bug 366002] New: kmail does not respect the use HTML instead of plain text setting

2016-07-23 Thread Kosmas Mackrogamvrakis via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=366002

Bug ID: 366002
Summary: kmail does not respect the use HTML instead of plain
text setting
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: message list
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: kos...@kosmas.gr

When setting the prefer HTML instead of plain text, the messages are presented
as HTML, but after restarting kmail the emails are presented as plain text.
The setting still exists but it is not respected. If you disable it and
re-enable it, it then presents the messages as HTML again.
This happens every time I start kmail.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select prefer HTML instead of plain text
2. See HTML messages
3. Restart kmail

Actual Results:
Messages are not seen as HTML, regardless of the setting to prefer HTML.

Expected Results:
Messages should be shown as HTML every time.

[kmail2] [Bug 363504] New: Deleting or moving the last email from the listing pane the preview the content stays in the preview pane

2016-05-25 Thread Kosmas Mackrogamvrakis via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363504

Bug ID: 363504
Summary: Deleting or moving the last email from the listing
pane the preview the content stays in the preview pane
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.14.10
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: message list
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: kos...@kosmas.gr

When you try to delete the last email int the message list and having the
preview to see the email (below for me), the contents of the email do not
empty.
I tried both deleting the last email and moving it to a different folder and
the results are the same.
When you change folder and get back to inbox, both list and preview are empty.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Delete last email from inbox
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Email preview is still being displayed.

Expected Results:
Email preview should be empty as it occurs after changin to another folder and
back.
