[kontact] [Bug 317327] New: Kmail unable to process an email I sent to myself

2013-03-25 Thread Lester Petrie
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=317327

Bug ID: 317327
Summary: Kmail unable to process an email I sent to myself
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kontact
   Version: 4.10.1
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: petriel...@ornl.gov

Application: kontact (4.10.1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.10.1
Qt Version: 4.8.4
Operating System: Linux 3.8.3-103.fc17.x86_64 x86_64
Distribution: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle)

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I had tried to delete an email I had sent to a list where I was on the list.
Kmail seems to go into a funk when I do that, not showing the message as read,
and flagging it as being in both the inbox and trash. Kontact eventually
crashes.

The crash can be reproduced sometimes.

[kontact] [Bug 298313] kontact crash when re-opening mail stuck in outbox

2013-03-20 Thread Lester Petrie
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=298313

--- Comment #1 from Lester Petrie petriel...@ornl.gov ---
Created attachment 78240
  -- https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=78240action=edit
New crash information added by DrKonqi

kontact (4.9.5) on KDE Platform 4.9.5 using Qt 4.8.4

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I had clicked on an attachment to view it, and view only showed it as an icon.
So I closed view, and right clicked on the attachment icon to open it in
something else. Kontact crashed at that point. I compared my backtrace with
the original, and, at least to me, they don't look the same.

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I had started to send an email, and went to select a receipient from my
contacts. The contact list was blank. I manually entered the receipient, sent
the email, and then opened contacts to see what the problem was. The contact
list was completely blank. I opened Akonaditray, and the contact list there
was correct. I came back to kontact, and tried adding an Address book, but
nothing showed up. I went back to kmail, and my mail folders had disappeared
(except the tabs still pointed to the correct places). I clicked in the empty
Favorites box, and kontact crashed. When I try to reopen kontact, everything
is missing.

2012-01-04 Thread Lester Petrie
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=290636

Summary: kmail2 crashed when marking all messages as read in a
local folder
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: petriel...@ornl.gov

Application: kmail (4.7.4)
KDE Platform Version: 4.7.4 (4.7.4)
Qt Version: 4.7.4
Operating System: Linux 2.6.41.4-1.fc15.x86_64 x86_64
Distribution (Platform): Fedora RPMs

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I had moved my mail (local folders) from under
~/.local/share/.local-mail.directories to ~/Mail, and many of the folders were
showing unread messages (nearly all had been read). I was going through and
right clicking on the folders, and selecting Mark all messages as read. I was
getting close to the end when kmail crashed.

2011-10-03 Thread Lester Petrie
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=283293

Summary: Kmail won't send an email, and crashes when trying to
save to drafts
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: lmpet...@bellsouth.net

Application: kmail (4.7.1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.7.1 (4.7.1)
Qt Version: 4.7.4
Operating System: Linux 2.6.40.4-5.fc15.x86_64 x86_64
Distribution: Fedora release 15 (Lovelock)

-- Information about the crash:
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
I was replying to an email. When I clicked on send, kmail said that the
sent-mail folder was not valid, and wouldn't send the email. Then I tried to
save the email to drafts, and kmail crashed. This is reproducible.

The crash can be reproduced every time.

[Bug 249467] New: akonadi_kabc continuously crashes

2010-08-29 Thread Lester Petrie
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=249467

   Summary: akonadi_kabc continuously crashes
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: vkra...@kde.org
ReportedBy: lmpet...@bellsouth.net
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org

Application: akonadi_kabc_resource (0.1)
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5)
Qt Version: 4.6.3
Operating System: Linux 2.6.33.8-149.fc13.x86_64 x86_64
Distribution (Platform): Fedora RPMs

-- Information about the crash:
As soon as the crash reporting assistant is closed a new one is opened
reporting a new crash. I tried shutting down kontact, but that didn't help.
The only thing that seems to help is to minimize the reporting assistant, and
leave it active.;

The crash can be reproduced every time.
